IS it Piles?? Please suggest.

For last two days I was feeling uncomfortable while excreting and sitting on chair for I felt there was something small and sharp stuck in my anal path. But it was not the case. Yesterday I noticed that almost on the edge of anus (slightly towards the inner side) there is something swollen. It pains while excreting, when I sit and try to get up from chair.

There is no bleeding as yet. Please tell me what is it and what is the remedy for the same.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Yes. It is piles.

Tell us more about the type of pain, how long does it last, what brings you relief..etc.

Sometimes, these acute flareups go away on their own. So, if you can wait for a couple of days, and see if the problem gets resolved on its own.

Pain happens when I contract my anus. During excretion as well as at other times. It lasts for about 3-5 seconds but some normal sensation remains.

Pain also takes place while sitting down on a chair and while getting up. Pain is NOT there after I take my seat and keep sitting.

I noticed that the swelling is of about a size of a small grape almost of on the edge towards the inner side of anus. On touch it pains slightly. Do you suggest some remedy to cure this and precautions to prevent it in future.

Wait for two days and see if the problem resolves on its own.

No remedy is required at this stage. Start eating more fibrous, bulky foods. Drink atleast 2 litres of water in a day.

Are you on any medication currently, allopathic or otherwise?

NO. But I saw some home remedies in your site. I am taking dry figs dipped in water every morning and evening with water in which it remains soaked for 12 hours. I have been doing it for last two days. I am also taking a capsule of B complex a day.

Hi, I see this is an old post but i have the same condition.

Swollen pile appeared about 4 weeks ago and is still swollen. I used to get a flare up depending on my food and how much straining but i had managed it fine and never had a swollen pile that didn't disappear after a short time from leaving the toilet. This time is different.

Then 4 weeks ago, i had a big change in diet from what i was used to (from south east Asian food to Irish food) and since then i have had a swollen pile that has stayed swollen. I still eat healthy now and i am am fit and exercise regularly but the pile has not deflated.

There is no pain, only a slight pressure when i go to the toilet or (on some days) when i stand up after sitting down, but not when i sit down or while i am sitting down. There is never any bleeding or itchiness or an discomfort except the odd day when i stand up or after the toilet.

What homeopathic should i take?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Tks
