Hair loss Dry flaky itchy scalp HELP!!!

Hi, I am currently 18 1/2 years old and since this summer i have been experiencing hair loss all around the front of my head but mostly in the middle. At first i thought i was goin bald at a young age as some people experience, but now that i have found this website, I think it is something else. Ever since I was 14, i have had horrible scalp itching. I used head and shoulders for a while and it temporarily relieved the problem. My story is extremely similar to this kid that posted earlier. : http://www.abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/50235/
During the summer I started losing hair but my hair line didnt change. Now, my hair is falling out and i feel that the white scalpes or whatever they are called, are the cause of the problem. They are deep into my skin and my head is always itchy. My hair is silky but now it has started thinning on the sides. I hads thick hair a year ago but i dont know how to regrow it back.
In my family my fathers side of the family has hair with barely anyone bald, while my moms side of the family lost their hair in their 20's and 30's.
I am also losing some hair on the back of my head just like the guy in the link. please help me!
