Sugar and vomiting

Hi all,
I am trying to help my son who is nearly four. For the last couple of years each time he goes to a birthday party or we have friends around and eats sweets and stays up later than usual he gets pains under his ribs and round to his back. His digestion just seems to stop untill in the middle of the night he throws up first undigested food then carries on throwing up bile for about 12hrs. On different occasions I have tried Nux; Lycopodium; arg nit; Phosphorus and Mercurius.
Have any of you an idea please?
Here's some more info.
Seems to be sweets with hydrogenated fat in. (sometimes just 3 sweets can cause the symptoms)
Has been caused by industrial brioche (again sugar and hydro-fats)
Always related to late nights and excitement.
He is for the most part happy and fun but is very sensitive, when told off will say, 'you made me cry'.
Can also get very angry with us.
Is very clingy when ill and wants me to hold him all the time and put my hand on the place that hurts.
This time he is totaly thirstless. Other times he drinks but throws it straight up.
He is constipated and only wees when I sit him on the loo. Sometimes the urine is cloudy sometimes clear.
Thanks for your time
Suz

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Antim CrudE could be a possible remedy in such cases.

this is especially useful if the stomach becomes upset after eating pastries and sour drinks.

Pulsatilla 30 is also very effecteve in stomach derangement after pastries, fruits, fried etc.

What has your doctor said about this situation? It sounds quite serious, and suggests professional attention. I'm thinking a food allergy, but I am no expert on this.

Also, have you checked that it might be other foodstuffs besides sugar making him ill? For example, raw eggs? Raw egg whites are often found in foods like meringues (esp. pavlovas), icings, some milk drinks, custards, creams, mayonnaises, icing and cake-fillings. And raw-egg white allegy (technically, un-denatured albumen allergy) is not uncommon and often overlooked.

This and similar food allergies are usually marked by symptoms like immediate general malaise or sleepiness, stomach and gut pain and vomiting, loss of appetite, and the slowing of bladder and bowel movements. It continues to be this way until most of the substance is expelled, or eventually passes through in about 12-24 hours.

Of course, at a birthday party, it is pounds to peanuts a child will ingest large amounts of exactly those types of raw-egg-laden foods, hence the heads-up! The good news is that well-cooked (i.e. denatured) egg-white has no allergic effect at all. And raw egg yolk is also usually non-allergenic.

zepoz- I think you missed the point. people seek homeopathic advice to reverse food allergies, something allopathic doctors really can't do.

Thank you all for your answers. I tried the Antim. crud which did seem to fit the bill but didn't seem to stop the pain. My experience of homeopathy has been if it works it works quick or not at all so I never tend to try more than a couple of doses.
Despite being very sensitive pulsatilla doesn't fit as he can eat pork and fat with out the problem.
Its not egg as we are talking about gelified sweets such as cocacola bottles covered in sugar. They contain many types of sugar forms and hydrogenated fats and my boy just can't digest them. He has just gone to bed still with stomach aches but no more vomiting, since Sunday. He is constipated not very hungry, though he ate some rice (2 tablespoons). He has always been a carbo kid. He doesn't like cooked veg but will eat raw.
I've also tried selinium now.
I think its time that I contacted the homeopath that I have used but would still greatly appreciate any feed back.
Love from
Suz
