Chronic abdominal pain
Hello!I'm 71 years old and the reason that I'm seeking help from the people, responding to this forum is that I still believe there must be something that can relieve my complaints!
I have suffered for the past several years from daily abdominal pains, colic after meals, daily diarrhoea, my stomach feels bloated and recently I feel tension, in the region of the gallbladder. I have undergone all the necessary exams - I don't have gallstones, my fibrogastroscopy is normal, the doctor said that I have an irritated colon. I have tried a lot of herbs, and 2 Homeopathic medicines - Chamomilla and Magnesia phosphorica, unfortunately with no effect.
Can anyone suggest any other remedy that I can try?

1)The doctors diagnosed me with irritated colon. Normally in the morning I have one normal defecation then 2 times diarrhea. In the afternoon 1,5-2 hours after lunch I have three times defecation - but its little quantity, like goat stools or only mucous. At that time I feel my abdomen heavy and bloated, I have pain and flatulance. In the evening I have abdominal pains, which are partially relieved by flatulence. Thats why I have disturbed sleep at night. I have also stomachache, and a drawing feeling in the region of the gallbladder.
2)Burning in the urinary bladder during urination, which was worse when I was taking Doxazosin tab. For my blood pressure, when I stopped taking them, the burning was calmed.
3)Stinging in the eye corner

Colon irritabile for many years, in my teen years I had Appendectomy, because the doctors thought that was the reason for my pains, but with no result
1981 Resection of 30 cm of small intestine, no effect
1995 Extraction of gall stones, no effect
Two years ago fibrocolonoscopy which was ok
For the past two years urinary burning, which was related to my anti hypertensive tablets, I dont have bacteria in the urinary bladder.
Stinging in the eye corner for 2-3 years, despite artificial tears I have dry eyes. I had glaucoma, which was operated and cataract with lens implantation.

12. Desire sweets/sour/salt - I eat little sour and salt, sometimes a piece of chocolate, and rarely a piece of cake
13. Thirst - I drink a lot of herbal tea, because of my urinary complaints. When my abdominal pains are quite unbearable, I drink in the evening a glas of champagne, which gives me a temporary relief only, and when I go to bed the pains start over again.
14. Tongue the tongue is red at the front and white and coated at the back.
15. Current BP (without medicine and with medicine) - with Tablettes 130 - 135/75 - 80
without Tablettes 155 - 160/88 - 95
16. What exactly is happening ? My complaints are bothering me.
17. How do you feel ? Im feeling relatively well.
18. How does this affect you ? My complaints affect me so much, that I always worry when I have to travel somewhere or when Im invited at someones house how will I survive with my abdominal pains.
19. How does it feel like ? - Sometimes Im fed up with these tormenting colics, that I think that only end of life can bring end to my complaints.

Many years ago, it was difficult to buy a house in Germany. We had to wait years for a special committee to make the decision, and actually we were desperate at that time with my man, because we have nowhere to live. Fortunately we met a colleague of ours, who knew the president of this committee and he said he would be able to help us get this agreement very quickly. Then we were finally able to buy a house, we were very happy, and I invited this colleague to dinner, but he wasnt able to come because he died on this very day.
22. How did that feel like ? 23. What sensation do you experience in that situation ? Im still sorry, that I could not thank him and the flowers that I bring to his grave are not enough to show my gratitude.

27. qualification of patient - Im always full of hope, and when I feel really well ( which unfortunately happens only for several hours) I feel I can embrace the whole world. But despite my complaints Im rather optimistic.
28. Nature of working - Im pensioner now. But I plan every day what housework to do, I read a lot, take care of my grandchildren, I help them with their homework, play with them, I must always do something.
