Ulcer/Carbuncle in left nostril

My husband got a carbuncle? or ulcer in his left nostril. Its very painful and the nose is red and inflamed. It had happened before due to the liquid mosquito repeller we were using near his head, but on the floor. Anyway we stopped and after a course of antibiotics it was okay. Homeo remedies like Merc, Nit Acid or Thuja had not helped him so he went for the antibiotics. It has now relapsed and the antibiotic does not seem to help him.
I request all on the forum to suggest something. He took Merc Sol 200, 2 doses today which may have helped a bit.
