Hi, asimattar:
The effectiveness depends on two things:
1.- You and your illness
2.- Your homeopath or practicioner.
On the first point, your illness may be acute or chronic and the developing of your illness may affect to the duration and the effectiveness of the treatment.
On the second point, your homeopath must study your case and answer with homeopathic remedies to the symptoms that dissapear or appear during the treatment. This is his/her duty.
I like to think that homeopathy makes you free, because if you have a good treatment in more or less time you'll don't need more medicines.

Andres
