4 year old girl chronic constipation
HiLooking for advice from a qualified homeopath re little girl with chronic constipation, which has been ongoing periodically over the last two years, it has coincided with a big reduction in appetite. She is a very easy and bright child with a really pleasing nature, never suffered tantrums. We feel that her constitpation is emotionally related, as we are also having a lot of problems controlling her masturbation. This problem has increased since she went into preschool as she has a lot of difficulty mixing with her own age group. We also noticed an increase in her thumb sucking but she never shows any other signs that things are upsetting her. She prefers adults - is very affectionate towards us and loves to be with us and has a very advanced language ability for her age. We really feel we need to help her, we went to a paediatrician with her and her first question was did we think she had been abused? this upset us so much we know she hasn't been, we don't argue too much, now and again like most people but we are always aware of the children and its so hard to find a solution to this. GP would use senokot but I think this would only deal with the physical problem and not the greater emotional one. We had a very hard time conceiving her and I worried through most of the pregnancy that I would lose her I wonder has this had this kind of negative effect. She did not latch to the breast no matter what we did but fed really well on bottles and was the most beautiful contented baby. Are we worrying excessively or would homeopathy help with what we think is an emotional and phyiscal problem. If there is a qualified homeopath who could give an opinion we would be very grateful.

Also she what she does eat is very healthy, fresh fruit smoothies, cereal, wholemeal bread, drinks plenty of water and fresh fruit juices and she is a very active child she also looks very healthy with great skin, hair, nails and skin.

How old is this child? And please elaborate more on what you feel is the causative factor( the school thing ) can you think of any other factors that may have contributed ie moving , new sibling, illness and so on ?

Thank you for taking the time to reply, she will be four this April. Her loss of appetite seemed to coincide with the birth of our son when she was 20 months old and as I said I felt the bowel problem occured then. I myself have bowel problems going back into my teens as do some of my brothers and sisters so there is a fundamental weakness there. But I would see it as been linked to emotionality in all cases. She would have had a marked loss of interest in food after her MMR at two and 6 months but she did regain and she does regain and lose. I feel going to school has been significant as I was at home for a month at Christmas and she was a lot better not entirely though but returning has brought about an exacerbation in her symptoms. She doesn't get sick much can't remember her last sickness. You would never know anything was wrong but for what I mentioned, her bowel pain is so severe at times I use baby massage on her belly and back and feet and she says this helps the pain but she is doubled in pain when the stools get so large she can't shift them.

Just to mention also she only attends preschool two mornings a week when I am working she also goes to a mum and toddler group with me and it is here that I observe how hard she finds it to mix with her own age. Should also mention she loves her sibling, they sleep together and play very well, imaginary and sharing play and seem to be inseparable at times she always refers to him with great love.

she loves salt and sugar and although we never add to food she will always try and get salty and sugary foods, does not like vegetables (fairly normal in children her age) likes most meats but can be very fussy which I also see as normal. Drinks water but sleeps all night, will normally want water in the morning first thing. I'd say she is a warm child doesn't sweat too much. General health is very good, I notice she does not seem to tolerate croissants, white bread which were given in preschool and I have stopped. Also had to stop pancakes as they exacerbated the problem. Her brother had a very big reaction to vaccine but she seemed to tolerate hers we do wonder if there is any relationship?

I also believe your sons birth was a major catalyst to this. They may have had an adversarial relationship or where together when a trauma took place in a past life. I believe the second scenario is the one closer to the truth. Your need to use homeopathy, to help these two quantum universes that are overlapping, to unglue. To move into their proper zones, so dis-ease disappears. In both realities.

It is so completely strange what you have just written reincarnation is always on my mind with her but I often feel I am going mad. When she was born it was the strangest experience for everyone in the room, she just looked around at us all like she was older than everybody else, she has language that is beyond belief for a child of her age, it is more like having an older child, when she was only six months old we were in the south of france and this very old woman from china with all her friends showed up in a foyer of a hotel and my daughter reacted so postively to them but particularly to the older woman and she went into her arms and was so happy we were totally dumbfounded. When in any situation she stands out from the crowd in the most profound way, its inexplicable. No I don't know what a bowel nosode is? My husbands parents died in the last four years since we had the children and my husband often says he thinks they are his mum and dad which I have always put down to a form of berevement comforting. She acts like a child who is emotionally deprived although I know this is just not the case in fact if anything its the oppostite. The stool is huge bigger than anything I would pass, it is mostly pale and would start quite liquid and end very liquid. It normally smells very offensive, today she has eaten so well but so far no movements, currently keeping a diary as I may have to move her along to a medical specialist soon but wanted to explore with homeopathy first, seriously lacking in reputable homeopaths where I live.

Just some further thoughts sometime after her early vaccines she developed these little bumps on her arms which the doc immediately dismissed but it took about three years for them to go and are not entirely gone. She also says her knees are itchy a lot and from time to time displays vertigo when playing but not always. Has many fears i.e. going down plughole in bath and falling down the toilet cannot use a toilet without a support seat which is becomming a problem for her.

On the reincarnation level; parents reincarnate all the time, its just that most of the time it will be an aspects of that past living person, as the child will not be an exact replica of the parent on a structural levels (the structural levels Im talking about are many things, but mostly it will be the DNA structures that act as the antenna which download the sole into present time and space). Every child is a unique form in this universe.
On to more practical matters. It appears your child has a few things going on. One, the watery stools indicate a disturbance in the kidney/large intestine water regulation system. The constipation I suspect gives us two doorways to look through. One, it is nerve tension or paralyses (paralyses is a metaphor for some aspect of the soul not fully incarnating into the body, a sort of disconnect) at the nerve level. Or if there is vaccine poisoning involvement the nerves may not be the core problem, but in fact some element of the vaccine poisoning may be interfering with the neuro-regulation within that part of her body. The bowel condition must be addresses with the bowel nosodes (you mentioned a strong smell). Once you address these basic blocking factors you will need to use specific plant/animal/mineral remedies to deal with the other levels. Whatever you do, do not use potencies higher then the 12x on the regular remedies and 36c on the nosodes (with some nosodes thats the lowest you can get). Its not that Im opposed to using higher potencies. I think you can get great results with the lower potencies and have more control with the process.
MMR=Measles, Mumps, Rubella. Google these diseases and look up their images. They will be helful. I suspect the Measles and Rubella is manifest in her.
Mumps- attack the thyroid region.
Bowel nosodes are an interesting class of remedies made from the bacteria from sick people. There are about 10 different ones. They are vary safe and powerful. I am convinced that almost everyone will benefit from bowel nosode remedies.
You must deal with this problem homeopathically, because if you dont your daughters formation on all levels as she grows older will be tainted by this pathological process that is so obviously presenting itself to us.
The aggravations from the white flour foods also indicate a bowel nosode as well.

Thank you so much for this detailed and helpful reply. I looked up the bowel nosode last night and the one that suited her most closely seemed to be Morgan (Bach)although she is introspective she is also very sociable in groups esp with adults, she suffered with a lot of croup last year which was treated with hepar sulph, (successfully) I don't know where to get this remedy i assume its specialised as I've never even heard of it. Is there a place where more detailed info is available on the remedies or do you think you have enough information to recommend one. I live in Ireland and would travel anywhere to a good homeopath if you know of one here who might go for this approach.

You cant get the bowel nosodes in potencies that low. You have the get the 30c or 36c. I think they do have some of the remedies a little lower, but they are all mostly in the c potencies. If its around the 30c potency use the B. Gaert once and wait about a week. It might be a good idea to use other mineral/pland/animal remedies in the 12x afterward. Once progress stops, use the morgan, then use other mineral/pland/animal remedies in the 12x afterward. Repeat same with Morbillinum.
