What could this be?

For the past few weeks, I have been having this feeling of incomplete bowel movement and this feeling is more or less constant. I have taken fiber supplement (Metamucil). The problem does subside a bit but raises its head again after a few days. I have had a recent history of digestive system problems and usually have a severe stomach gas problem.

I currently have feel the urge to relieve myself and relieve myself 3-4 times a day in small quantity (the 1st visit in the mornings are usually normal). Last couple of day I am also experiencing lower back pain and weariness in my legs. I have not lost weight or appetite.

So what could this be?? Please advice. thanks

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
What is your diet like?

I am a vegetarian and have been eating a lot of green veggies. In addition, I eat fruits and salads in good quantity. But overall, the diet is good old home made Indian meal comprising cooked veggies, chappati, dal and rice.

I drink a lot of water. No sodas, don't drink alcohol, don't smoke

And you have been eating this kind of diet all your life with no problems?

No problems at all so far. Of course, as occupational hazard I do eat outside when I am traveling. But I strictly keep to vegetarian food. Can you throw some light on this?

Any exposure to chemicals, used any medicinal herbs, or had any acute infections etc in the last few weeks?

Please avail yourself of what the allopaths do well, and get a colonoscopy. Then find your natural remedy for what ails you :)

Thanks, 11:11. Looks like I will have to get tested. The pressure is in the anal/rectal area and not so much from the intestines (at least that is what I am experiencing).

Yes, it's good to get the colonoscopy to see if you have a tumor or pollups. Diagnostics will help you narrow down what the difficulty is.
