This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It is fine to take Homoeopathy alongside anti-biotics.

Please post more details about yours and your sons cases.

JCS2006 thank you so much for your response hope this is helpful. if you need more specific info let me know.

I was diagnosed january 23 with walking pneumonia and put on Avelox(antibiotic 400mg
and low dose prednisone 5mg due to labored breathing.
I am also an asthmatic and was put on advair and singulair. after finishing the biotics and prednisone. still had great deal of coughing and began to develop pain on lower left side of my back. went back to dr. they said it had cleared up some but there were still specks on my x-ray. to be safe they put me on levaquin 750mg for ten more days. I am now on day 4.

my son developed a cough toward the end of january. since he is usually very heathy and rarely catches more than the sniffles i wasnt overly concerned and just increased his fluids and vitc along w/probiotics and colostrum. by 2/2/07 when he coughed he would double over and he began to complain of chest pain upon coughng. I started him on cough syrup toloosen phlegm thinking it was just a chest cold. on 2/5/07 i decided i had better take him to his dr. he was diagnosed w/ walking pneumonia. was prescribed zithromax 200mg 1st day 100mg for next 4 days. well saturday i ended up taking him back because he was complaing of back pain when he coughed.
low and behold it hadn't cleared up. they prescribed the same thing at a stronger dose 400 mg 1st day 200 for next 4 days. he is on day 2.
he spiked a fever today of 101.1. i am keeping a very watchful eye on him.

i have tried several natural remedies to rid myself of asthma which is triggered by even slight congestion. i havent tried homeopathy yet any suggestions?

thank you.

Dear Isa.

The treatment of you and your son would require a very thorough case taking, as this is obviously quite a serious complaint.

I'd be happy to help, but I don't really take on chronic cases on this forum due to the high turnover of posts.

Maybe someone else will, or you can click on my profile for more info.
