Have you tried rubbing the knee with castor oi, prefereably before going to bed at night and keeping it warm? A bit messy but with appropriate plastic wrap should stay in place. Yes, I´m aware this is not a homeopathic remedy but is supposed to be VERY EFFECTIVE.
Good luck.

Dear Debbie:
In my opinion, perhaps your swollen knee is only this: a swollen knee. But we need to know when you feel better (stopped, in movement, after the movement); what relieves your pain (cold, hot, relax, ...); Is there inflammation in all knee, or only behind or where? This sort of symptoms help us to select the right remedy for you.
You can answer the questins in this board and we'll try to help you.
Castor oil can relieve some kind of pains, but if you have a swollen knee, i think castor oil can't relieve your pain.
Best regards
Andrés
