eye allergy

My 11 years old son has allergies and often get cold cough, in addition to that he gets itchy eyes and sometimes yellow discharge as well. In March April there is somthing in air that touches his eyes and his eyes become red and a white discharge starts flowing and his eyes remain swelled up for couple of days. I tried giving him bellodona 30 and it gives some temp relief but I really want to treat his eyes now as how long he can stay inside and keep on suffering from allergies.

All the expert comments are appreciated.
Please help.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
in such allergies, APIS, PULSATILLA or EUPHRASIA could be helpful.

based on the modalities, you may try from any one of the following, it should work.

Thanks for your reply. I have APIS with me can you please elloborate how to use it and for how long.

Thanks

please dont give APIS just because you have it !!

APIS would be useful only if there is a feeling of burning in the eyes with some swelling and inflamation and its reduced by cold washing or cold environment.

if the above is not matching with the symptoms, i would suggest you give PULSATILLA 200C every 4 to 6 hours for 3 to 4 doses and see the result.

if there is response, stick to it for a few more doses till the symptoms remain.

else, you can come back here and describe the modalities.

Dr.rishimba has selected both the medicines well. But I suggest to use them as follows:

1) Pulsataila (as per dr. rishimba advise)
2. Eupharisa-eye drops of dolisos- FRANCE.(Very useful in these symptoms)

Dr. Mahfooz,

I have Eupharisa-eye drops from SBL India and my son uses it on daily basis throughout allergy season. Is this drop different than what you described.

Thanks

if there basic medicine is Eupharisa in these eye drops then you can also use.

Is this medicine be taken orally as well?

Please take medicines as per advise of Dr.rishimba. He advised to use Pulsatila. EUPHRASIA eye drops cann,t be taken orally because it also inclules some other ingredients. However, it can be used in potency. In your case most appropriate medicine is Puls.

Dr Rishimba advised PULSATILLA and i want to make sure that symptoms of eye allergy in my son'd case are understood well.
His eye allergies just trigger like he is just sitting and start yelling and closes his eyes and when he open it is all red and pain and he feels like it is bleeding from eyes.
Everyyear it happens starting March and it helped last year when I used EUPHRASIA eye dops but this year it is not helping.
Please confirm if he should take EUPHRASIA 30c orally or PULSATILLA (what potency and how many doses a day?)
Please confirm.
Thanks

Yes you right. Please give him Euphrasia-30c orally 3 drops thrice a day. But start with One doze of sulpher-30c first. Hope this will help ur son.
