chronic acne, please help

Does anyone have any advice for me?
I am a 22 year old female and have had chronic acne since i was 11. It has just gotten worse over the years. It started out mainly on my forehead and now is all over my face and back. I used to have it on my chest but that cleared up. The only product that i've tried that helps a little is the over the counter products that contain benzoyl peroxide.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
is the acne connected to your digestive problems.

do you have very oily skin

do you take a very oily diet

are your periods normal in all respects.

please describe the looks and distributions of the eruptions.

what makes it worse and what makes it better.

is it painful or painless, white or red, big or small, filled with pus or dry.

Yes I have very oily skin.

I try to eat healthy. I don't eat much meat, I eat lots of brown rice and vegetables. Every now and then I will eat some junk, but I wouldn't say I have a very oily diet.

I have very bad cramps during my period and have some bloating. I don't bleed much and my periods last about 4 days.

I have a lot of white heads and some are red. I have a lot of small acne on my forehead and nose and mostly get the white heads on my cheeks and chin.

What makes it better is getting out of Los Angeles. I noticed when I visit family in Oregon, it usually gets a little better probably because of less polution and better water in the shower. (my family has well water in Oregon.)

What makes it worse is if I skip a day of putting the benzoyl peroxide medication on it, if I don't get enough sleep, and right before I get my period, it gets a little worse.

Thanks!

please take NAT MUR 30C in the morning and in evening.

continue this for a week and note the difference. if it helps, you may go for 200c three doses at 6 hours interval on the same day to get a long term effect.

Ok, I'll try that.
Thank you, rishimba. =]

I tried Nat Mur 30C for about a week and it didn't help. Now that rishimba brought attention to it, I guess I do have an oily diet. Is there a different homeopathic remedy for that?

there are many remedies for acne but the one which will work should be based on the causative factors and other concurrent symptoms.

please try SEPIA 200C one dose a day for some 3 to 4 days and note for some changes in the next 10 days.

I've tried Sepia a while ago with no change. What is the next remedy I should try? What causative factors and concurrent symptoms can I describe?

i am suggesting a palliative remedy for the acne.

please take JUGLANS REGIA-Q
some 5 drops in some water three times a day for some days.

this will reduce skin acne on the face.

meanwhile, if you can fill up the complete questionnair, your constitutional remedy could be suggested. this would help you to eliminate these skin eruptions in the long run.
