acidity and g.e.r.d.

Hi,
I am a 25 yr old male. For the past 8-9 yrs I've had IBS and for the past 2 yrs g.e.r.d and laryngopharyngeal reflux disease.
For IBS I am currently taking Diarex(a herbal medicine by Himalaya Ayurveda) and this has helped a bit and I was prescribed Pantocid DSR. Now pantocid DSR did prove quite effective but gave me awful loose motions and someone told me it causes pancreatic cancer. I was at a pharmacy here in New Delhi came across Schwabe's Natrum Phosphoricum.
My Question is
1. Is Natrum Phosphoricum effective for acidity, g.e.r.d?
2. What is the best way to take this medicine, before or after meals?
Any Help will be much appredicated

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Natrum Phos 6x : 4 tabs x 4times a day if possible, dissolved in half cup of water.

My personal experience has shown Nixocid (SBL) is far better than only Natrum Phos 6x.

You can also take Syrup Liv - T (SBL) two tea spoon 3times daily half hour after meals.

Both the combination works wonders.
