The ABC Homeopathy Forum
Expertise Requested
To all in the know,Hello, I am quite the novice to homeopathy. I wanted to ask some of the professionals out there somewhat of a technical question. About 3 weeks ago, I was suffering from a stuffy nose - after meals and at night. I thought Nux was the cure for this. I took a 1M dose. It cleared it up immediately, and I had no complications. A week later, I had a relapse of the condition. Perhaps I should have waited the situation out, but I got anxious and took another dose of Nux. This time, I disolved a 1M dose in water, succussed and took a sip. Immediately the symptoms went away. But 48 hours later, I began to get horrible Nux aggravations - primarliy: ineffectual bowel movements, awaking at 3am (on the dot!), extremely irritated/anxious in the morning. These symptoms have been going on for the last 2 weeks.
I wanted to ask the professionals out there, whether this is an aggravation or a proving? Did I take too much of Nux or is this simply an aggravation that will lead to a curative response? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Dear Sajjad,
For a proving, would the antidote be required? In the case of Nux, should I take Coffea to antidote? Thanks again for your help.
