Pain/Itching in Both Ears
Pain and itching in both years, a problem for a few years now. No Dr's Dx or Rx the problem. One Dr sent me to ENT: he stated I need 2 hearing aids with no answer for cause of problem. I refused aids, continuing search for answer. I occasionally have pain inside and down ear canal. Occasionally feels of something moving inside. Please DR can you help me?WhiteDove7 on 2007-04-08

Pain is very commonly associated with common cold.
And itching from excess of ear wax or discharge inside.
There are many other causes also i have mentioned only the most common cause.

No throat infections as I am rarely ever sick. It feels as tho something is in my ears as occassionally during the day I will have a med/sharp pain hit and then the pain disappears. The ringing is 24-7. Due to some foods such as Pizza or nitrate lunch meats, it is sometimes a much higher pitch of ringing. The ears have a few days of very painful when cleaning and then for a few days extremely itching. I have had this problem for a few years, I sure would like to find a remedy. Any help would be greatfully appreciated.
