Remedy Finder(s)

Hi all,

I'm just trying to get a few thoughts about the quick Remedy Finder.

Everyone here is probably familiar with the full version, but, looking at the visitor stats, many less people use the simplified and abbreviated version at: http://www.abchomeopathy.com/simplified.php

I would just like to know:

a) if you knew the quick one existed.
b) if you ever used it
c) which one you think is better
d) which one you think we should lead on.
e) anything else you think I should know ;)

Many Thanks,
Simon

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
The full version is the best of all.The remedy approach is perfect.Though the quick one is simple but for similar remedy especially for chronic diseses it is insufficient.I would like the full version. It is classical indeed.

your Remedy Finder is not touching to synthesis repertories. and it is not flexible. we required patient words turns to repertories word. but it is better than some thing.

Dear Simon

I agree with Sajjad. The mini version is not useful. We can't really repertise a case with it.

I have not seen such a simple, comprehensive software, easy to use even by the layman and with greater flexibility. It is complete in every respect.
This is the only software that can serve case taking and repertorization at the same time. If you type the name of a disease it will keep you asking details and after completion of case taking just with one click you can see the remedy grid.
Kent repertory is still popular and reliable. The synthesis repertory is an advance version of Kent repertory. If the person has command in homeopathy the old version of Kent repertory is still valuable, reliable and will not disappoint the physician.

To add to what Dr.Sajjad said..

The additions made in Synthesis are not totally reliable, as adequate care is not taken before adding them.

Murphy is a bit more conservative among modern repertories, and hence more reliable. It is easier to use than Kent.

However, I depend mostly on Kent, Boericke and Boger.

Thanks all.

To sum up then, we won't be emphasising the quick Remedy Finder. We may even remove it entirely.

At some point in the future, we plan to add more repertories to the Remedy Finder, but that will be a long way off.

Best Wishes,
Simon

Dear Siimon,
My suggestion wud be to retain the quick Remedy Finder...as it gives some indication...the rest ....a homeopath applies his own mind and uses books of his own choice.

You can give a script on top saying that for a complete analysis...and a more accurate analysis..use the fuller version of the Remedy Finder.

I have used the quick Remedy Finder many times in the manner described above.

Thanks and wishes,

Dear Simon

Please try to make the urls clickable, so that the site of the url opens in a new window.

It is a pain to copy and paste the address each and every time.

I could see you have made many changes in the software, and perhaps you can round it off with this.

Regards

Murthy

Pankaj,

Ok, well we won't kill the quick Remedy Finder, but we will continue to shout about the full one instead.

Murthy,

Yes, this is on the list.
