Oh no. I believe i obtained the incorrect item. I asked for alumen and got alumina. This is what i have been taking:
last 4 days:
calendula - 4 pellets, 1x/day in am
alumina 30 C (INCORRECT) - 4 pellets, 1x/day in am
berberis vulguaris 11 pellets, 4x/day
I am on my last day of menstruation and will be prepared to start tomorrow. Please advise if I should go back on your prescription (replacing alumina with alumen 30c)?
The good news it the abscess is shrinking tremendously from 1 week ago. You have been an absolute blessing and believe that once i take the correct Alumen, I will make even more positive gains.

9. List of your complaints: I am suffering from Anal fistula. The Colorectal surgeon categorized it as superficial fistula
10. Since how long are you suffering from each complaint? : 40 days
11. Diabetic or non-Diabetic: non-Diabetic
12. Desire sweets/sour/salt: Mostly salt but sweet 1-2 times a day
13. Thirst: I drink a lot of water, in current weather about 3-4 liters a day.
14. Tongue and Taste: Normal
15. Current BP (without medicine and with medicine): Normal
16. What exactly is happening?
I believe this all started with a hard stool and it started itching in/around rectum area for about 7-8 days before an abscess appeared at 6 o clock outside the rectum opening. I was in severe pain for 3-4 days and then it busted. I felt better for about 2 days and then the pus and fecal matter started building up again. I was again in pain for 2 days and then it busted and drained. I went to colorectal surgeon; he cut open the outer opening and drained it. I was better for a week or so in terms that I didnt feel a lot of pain but now I feel pain for past 2 weeks and the cycle continues every day. What happens every day now is that after bowel movement the fecal matter goes into fistula cavity and I am in pain for 5-6 hours and then it drains and then I start feeling better rest of the day. The next day same thing happens over and over again. The outer abscess is like a tear drop and swells after bowel movement but its not very big. My observation is that mostly fecal matter comes out of rectum opening 5-6 hours after bowel movement. The outer opening has a pin sized hole so I doubt anything could come out of it except liquid but I could be wrong. I also think I dont have a lot of puss but some yellowish matter comes out after the fecal matter drains. It keeps draining for another 2-3 hours after the fecal matter comes out.
17. How do you feel?
For 5-6 hours every day I cant move or sit. Sitz bath does not help so I have stopped taking it because I feel more pain and it feels like the fistula is opening more and nothing comes out of the fistula during sitz bath. It only comes out after the 5-6 hour of bowel movement.
18. How does this affect you?
I am unable to carry out my regular work and I am now working from home.
19. How does it feel like?
It feels like something is stuck in my rectum and it limits my movements and everyday activity.
20. What comes to your mind?
Sometimes very frustrated and mostly angry during 5-6 hours cycle.

Havent noticed anything in particular, my situation stays the same with all foods but I try to avoid spicy food but I think it doesnt make much difference in my situation.
31. Mind-behavior, anger, irritability, hurry, impatient and so on.. How are you different from other persons, public speaking or not , you can describe all of the details about your behavior, love and affections?
Depending on situation I could be angry, impatient and aggressive. Not very friendly or public figure but I am loving and affectionate to family and close friends.
32. Aggravation (increases-time, season,)& Amelioration (Decreases)
Could be a minor thing like my stuff not in place, children making noise etc.

Initially fecal matter comes out 5-6 hours of bowel movement. This lasts for not more than 30 minutes. The quantity is not a lot, its hardly half teaspoon or 2ml. Then yellowish matter comes out which I think is also liquid form of feces or it could be pus and fecal matter combined. This continues for 2-3 hours. Then at night a different type of secretion starts. Its light greenish yellow stuff. Its granular.
In order to find out that what miasm are you currently in, please answer the following Q's?
1. Please tell us about your pain, if any? How much is the pain and where?
Severe pain in rectum area after bowel movement for 5-6 hours.
2. Is there any pus coming from anywhere in your body and it's color, quantity and thickness? The color may be yellow, light yellow, brown, dark brown, greenish, white and watery.

4. How about the blood discharges, if any? Please describe the color of blood and its thickness?
Sometimes red color matter also comes after the fecal matter discharge. Its not pure blood but light red stuff like you get when the wound is healing.

I think it started in Ramadan due to low fiber diet. I had a hard stool and I pushed hard too but nothing happened at that time. I had itching in and around rectum area for 7-8 days before external abscess showed up.
6. How about the itching and burning in detail, if any?
I cant move around for 5-6 hours of bowel movement due to tightening in and around rectum area for 5-6 hours after bowel movement.
7. How is your energy level and state of mind other than the one you already described?
I am fine otherwise.
8. Any other issues right now and in the past other than the one you have already described?

9. What are you taking at the moment (homoeopathic and allopathic) on daily basis?

It has been about 18 days since colorectal surgeon operated the outer abscess. I was feeling better during the first week because fistula was draining well but for past 1 week I am again in pain. I visited him on Friday and he said that it has improved so we should give it 2 more weeks to heal. He said its a fifty fifty chance that it might not heal. If it doesnt heal then he has suggested that he will now need to operate the inner side of fistula as well as outside. Not sure if I understood him correctly but he probably wants to open and clean the whole thing now. I am reluctant on doing this. Please advise.

I was going to order the first 2 remedies you prescribed but I wanted to find out if I definitely need the other 4 remedies down the road then I can order them all together to save time. Can you please confirm their dosage so that I can order accordingly. If a gap of 4-5 days between courses is ok then I will order them separately when needed.
Also, I wanted to find out how long would these course be? What happens after the first round of remedies? I see you only suggested it for 3 days. How long would be the 2nd course and how soon can I expect some results and how long will it take to fully heal?
My problem right now is that the inner portion of the fistula opens up every day after the bowel movement. Will these remedies close the inner side fast enough (12-14 hours)?

I wanted to give you an update. The abscess is almost gone! I still had 2 very very small drops of light yellow pus and 1 small drop this am. Again very very small amount.
I have decreased BV to 11pellets/day and Calendula same at 4/day
I am waiting on Alumen, supposed to be here any day.
