nux vomica and insomnia
Dear FriendsProblems with insomnia, bad dreams (3a.m.), nervious, irritability during the day.
Nux Vomica 15CH 4balls every night has gone WONDERFULL for sleeping.
After two weeks, Started to take one night and two without medicine but the second night is not so good as the night with dose.
Could be better to start NUX VOMICA 30CH once a week ? If true, during how many months?
Indefinitely?

Exact location? bad sleeping.
Any cause which you feel for this ailment? nothing.
What other physical sufferings do you have in your body? liquid retention at legs (calf muscles). Prostate hipertrophia with difficulties for sexual relations (poor eyaculation) and little afflect in urinate.
What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings? the sexual problem is going better with sabal serrulata (I left several wweks ago this medicine). This problem make me feel very bad. The problem of sleeping is because I have very bad dreams and very non quiet night moving continuosly (I have taken allopatic medicine for this problem: ORFIDAL). The feeling during the day is more tired than usual. I snore a lot of.
When did it all start? one year ago.

Do you have any strange, peculiar or unusual symptom or feelings? I do not accept contradictions to my opinion when they came from relatives(I am very bossy). this is not true for foreign persons. I can afford any person close to me has a different opinion about something related to my life. This usually gives a lot of problems with my wife or sons because my actittude is sometimes a little extreme. I can change from one emotional state to another very angry due to a contradiction in whatever non important question of cotidian life.

Dear pappma00,
You are most close to NUX-VOMICA. The potency which you used in past is lower which is better for insominia and digestion etc. But your mental symptoms need higher dilution. I suggest you to take it in 30 potency one dose daily at night for a week and come back with changes please

5 nights taking Nux-Vomica 30CH. ALL nights dreams VERY GOOD. Very quiet at sleeping, VERY WELL with relatives during the day (no irritability).
You suggested 7 days with Nux-Vom.
My doubt is: 7 days and stop taking Nux-vom and to observe changes during the followings days without homeopathy?

7-8 nights with nux vom. 30CH.
Very well at sleeping (very good drems...) and during the day.
Two days after stopping treatment symptoms start to appear: at sleeping more nervous, with a little of anxiety, during the day each day is passing I think it is going worse. I start to think in all again.
Those 7-8 days were excellent for me and for my wife, all very good!
Why are returning symptoms again?
Please help.

If you are benefitted by Nux.vomica, but the same unchanged symptoms have come again after two days, it means that you have to go for split doses of the same medicine, once in every two days.
Mix three or four pellts of Nux.vomica 30c, in about 250ml. of water, shake vigorously, and take one sip out of it.
Now, wait for two days, hit the medicine bottle against your palm 5 to 6 times, and take another sip.
This routine you continue once in two days. Try for two weeks like this and report.
You can keep the bottle in the refrigerator,capping it well.

I am currently with the treatment of Nux Vom. 30CH dilluided in water. Days and nights are not so good as when taking the three balls although I will wait to complete two weeks as prescribed and see results...
Two months ago I am suffering from heaviness in legs (exactly at calf muscles) with certain swelling increasing when finishing the day. Abdomen is also swollen with the same paute.
After sleeping, both abdomen and legs are better and at the end of the day appears another time the trouble.
Perhaps this is related with the mental symptoms...
Any treatment compatible with the another of Nux Mov. ?

The summary of the treatment is the following:
A) Before homeopathy: irritability, obstination, very bad dreams.
B) During Nux Vomica 30CH one dosis every day during a week: WONDERFUL during the day and at dreams. Very well resting.
C) Two weeks with split doses (four balls in 250cc): During the day good. During sleeping there are some obstinated dreams altough I can rest.
In consequence, sleeping could be better but I can identify a good effect from split dosis.
Any recomendation for future? Is possible to repeat treatment (B) or (C) in some periods with nerviosim?

My realtives say that my mood goes up and down very fastly. I am starting again to be a little irritable, not to be contradicted by relatives and so on, as before Nux. Mov.
Dreams are not so bad.
The period with Nux Vom. 30CH every night was EXCELLENT.
The second period with the split doses was not so brilliant but I could stand.
These two weeks without treatment I feel (and my relatives also do) I am not so relaxed and my obstination is growing every day.
Any recommendation please?
May I repeat any of the treatments with Nux. Vom. 30CH?

If you felt better with taking nux.vomica every night, and didn't feel that much better with the split dose, this is what to do.
Procure Nux.V 30c in liquid form (It is available in all homeopathic shops).
Mix two drops in about 30ml. of water, and take it as a dose just before going to bed.
Hit the corked liquid medicine bottle against a bound book, 3 times, before taking the next dose. Mix this succussed medicine in water as told above and take it.
Repeat every night for one week, and stop.You must succuss the medicine each time before taking.Report after a week.
Make sure that there are no odors on you (perfumes etc), near you (in the room), and in your mouth before taking the medicine.

- Sleeping very good.
- During the day, the behaviour with relatives degradates every day. A little serious and anxious.
After this observation with nux vomica in several forms I see this medicine is the exact treatment needed for the behaviour alterations.
Any idea to proceed?
