recurrent nose bleed
In the past 6 months I have had some 4 episodes of nosebleed.To give an idea of my condition. I had 2 recurrent episodes of severe cough & cold back to back. My nose feels ver dry and I have a tendency to pick the nose. Generally is it dry and no traces of blood byut just 2 nights ago It came out with a long blood clot and bleeding that soon stopped.
Since then I have been okay but the nasal canal feels very dry. And all day yesterday I felt a soreness high up in my nasal passage.
This happens in the right nostril. Now I have forgotten if the previous episodes of nosebleed all occurred in the right nostril only or in one nostril or another.
I am very concernerd that this may not be a tumor or something - although I dont feel anything. The fact that this occurs every 2 months or so.
I am worried sick. Right now I am taking
1 tablet of alleraid (Bakson's) + one dose Bryonia 30 + one dose kali bichrom 30 in the morning and the same thing in the evening.
I have done so for 2 days now.
I'll be very thankful for your valuable advice.

Never take two medicines together.
How did you chose these medicines? On what indications?
Even if you want to try on the basis of something you read, try one medicine at a time, and avoid repeating the dry doses.

Stop all medication for the time being, and closely observe the following ,if you get it next time.
What time does it occur?
Did you do anything different from your routine that day?
Are there any symptoms preceding it?
How long the flow lasts? What is the color of the blood?
Is it clotted or clear?
How did it stop?

Medication is stopped for 2 days. I have had 2 episodes of it in the past 2 days. It happens when picking nose. It is clotted dark blood and then fresh blood as if a wound opened up - but it quickly stops thereafter.
Nothing different I have been doing from my routine.
Also, this happens only in the right nostril, high up in the nose about where one's fingers reach.
Any help would be greatly appreicated.

The main cause appears to be dryness causing bleeding.
Take Brynio 1X (4 pills three times a week) Report after 3 days.

What makes you to pick the nose?
If you refrain from picking the nose, won't there be any bleeding?

Thanks Rajendra. I have been taking bryonia 30 for a couple of days but doesn't seem to help. Murthy brings up a good point about what causes me to pick my nose. It is indeed a dryness i believe. any other suggestions.

i should also mention that the bleeding is not like a flow . for instance murthy says if i dont pick there wont be bleeidng. but why was there a clot (dark blood) in the first place?

The symptoms you mentioned are not enough to select a remedy.
Before we try medicines randomly, let us rule out any physical causes.
I strongly recommend to visit an ENT specialist, and get the case investigated.
If no cause is found, then we will look for more symptoms, and try to hunt out the suitable remedy.

What all medicines are you taking at present?
Height: 5 feet 9 inches
I sometimes like sweets but generally prefer salty food. Once I start eating sweets I eat a lot of them but generally avoid them because of risk of high sugar.
I like fried and oily food and tolerate it but since I have high BP (I take allopathic medicines) but I avoid them.
Stools are usually semi solid but sometimes I get mucous and they are generally brown to greenish and dark.

Your eating habits - You prefer Salt or Sweets
Do you tolerate well the Fried and oily food.
How are your stools?
In the meantime start taking Arnica 200 (2 drops) in one spoon of water once after 3 days.

Thank you for youremail address & a positive reply on the abchomeopathy forum. I saw your profile and thought I would correspond directly with you.
gavinmurthy's responses didn't much help in anyway and the fact that he is suggesting going to an ENT defeats the very purpose of homeopathy and suggests simply getting an allopathic diagnosis and treatment.
I am here in USA and hence the homeopathic treatment is not that conveniently available. I have also been studying and applying homeopathy for the past 7-8 years. I have a good collection of medicines here and am sometimes able to request people to carry them for me or mail it.
I also have some dental complaints and have treated some of it successfully with homeopathics. but homopathic in dental treatments gets complicated. I have not had good luck with dentists and just feel their treatments are very invasive and always lead to increasing complications - one thing leading to another. If you would be willing to help me discuss my situation and recommend treatment solutions that would be great.
The problem is that I am trying to connect nosebleed with dental complications somehow. I have a front right incisor that was fractured early in childhood and i underwent 2 root canals on it. The doctore finally put in a post and crown some 10 yrs ago. Last year due to bruxism I somehow ended up putting pressure on this tooth and it caused a focus inflammation on my hard palate near the roots of that tooth. I had been seeking advise from a homeopath in india (who i have since lost contact with), he gave me silicea, followed by hekla lava etc and also mezerium at one point. It all helped but the midline on the palate has swelling that comes and goes.
I feel very confident that this can be completely treated by homeopathy alone.
Please let me know your thoughts,
