Friend has stiffness in right shoulder sometimes also ache in right arm, also slight pain in upper back right side of spine, feels like finger pushing on it, after which had a feeling of air in esophagus which did bring up gas though does not releive the problem, still feels like bubble in windpipe. He also sweats a lot especially head and says forehead is most always wet day and night making hair wet especially on back of neck, not while in bed. He has also recently noticed sight has weakened seems to have to pull book away to read it. Likes to stay up late at night. Loves chocolate and coke, sometimes has no appetite.
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Is this problem of recent origin?

What caused it?(if there was any cause like lifting heavy weights, exposure to cold wind,or any external factors)

When the pain increases?

What makes the pain less?

In homeopathy, the symptom is not complete, unless you specify the location, sensation and modality.

Location is the part where the problem is.(You told it.)

Sensation is pain,stiffness etc.(You told stiffness.ok.)

Now,modality means, what makes the complaint better or worse.
This is also very important,to select a probable medicine.

If the problem is a chronic one, then these details won't help much. You have to answer lot of questions.

Pl.clarify.

Has your friend seen a doctor? Has he seen a chiropractor? He could have a broken rib, pulled muscle, something about the liver, a bad kidney. Has he had his urine checked? Has he had blood checked?

Is he just laying there waiting to die? DO SOMETHING that will give more info on the condition of the inner body.....Sabra

The sweating seems to be the most irritating symptom.
He says most of the time his forehead and just under eye is wet with sweat. Cold application makes it better and heat makes it worse. Just seemed to come on gradually after being in a hot climate.
He says he likes to wash his hands a lot but not sure if it is from a mind thing, as he says he likes the feel of cold water on his hands.

Also, he likes sweets - chocolate and coke, also likes bitters. Likes hard breads as opposed to softer. Loves tomato, fruits. Sweating seems intermittent and worse on head and neck. He is a night person, feels tired in the morning. Kind natured.

The sensation of bubble/air in windpipe is so hard to find in repertories.

I still haven't found it. Would like to hear from someone who has.

I treated a friend with that sensation with Lycopodium and had great success. He use to get it while eating and after eating. No problems now.

My friend also used to get the same problem. He was advised Bryonia 30. Gas used to come out whenever the painful area was pressed and now he rarely gets it. Yes it seemed to be connected to digestion. Now it has been a few months since he last got the pain.

Lueticum could be the remedy here -if he stands with his arms at his sides --- can he raise them [away from the side] so that the extended hands are above the ears/head. This would confirm Lueticum.

As a recent cancer patient for Hodgkins I would suggest your friend see a standard practioner on this iif he hasn't already. he should get sscans. PT if possible. These sound very much like my pre diagnosis symptoms. THe sugar cravings and sweats combined with pain. GO GET SCANS please.

best to you both. Hope all is well.
