I burnt my throat....
A few weeks ago I drank something that way way too hot and the back of my throat is burned. Mostly the side near my tonsil and it's red. TSince it's been so long, I'm guessing it's infected but I'm not hacking up pus or anything gross.
My only main symptoms are acids burning it(orange juice) and a sickening feeling of heat in my throat. And I'm constantly irritable along with depressed and I really think there's a connection with the heat.
Throat feels raw... Sometimes it makes me want to cough. I can, but not really hacking anything up.
Not sure what to pick for something like this since it was an injury. It's not like I am sick with a 'cold' or have 'strep throat' or something. My throat and tonsil were burned.
I am starting to get a 'clogged head' feeling so that's another thing that makes me think infection. But I don't know for sure.

Although I noticed one of the symptoms is 'burnt from food'..Can I ask why you'd recommend that one?
When I did the remedy software thing that wasn't even on the list for the symptoms I'd choose like heat in throat, rawness, etc. I kept tieing betweeen Lacheis and Sulph.

If the causation is known, we normally give maximum weightage to that.
I am aware aware of badly burnt cases of tongue and mouth getting cured by Cantharis.
This forum itself has a few threads, confirming it.

I went with the Cantharis because it says from too hot food and seemed to have more symptoms but it hasn't helped.
Possibly just aggravated it because I felt more heat after taking it. But any liquid irritates me.
