Some defines Parathormone & Ovarian Cysts as under :-

Parathormone: A hormone that is made by the parathyroid gland and that is critical to calcium and phosphorus balance. Deficiency of parathormone results in abnormally low calcium levels in the blood (hypocalcemia). Excessive parathormone leads to elevated calcium levels in the blood (hypercalcemia) and calcium deposition in cartilage. Also known as parathyroid hormone and parathyrin.

Ovarian Cysts Symptoms

Usually ovarian cysts do not produce symptoms and are found during a routine physical exam or seen by chance on an ultrasound performed for other reasons. However, the following symptoms may be present:

Lower abdominal or pelvic pain, which may start and stop and may be severe, sudden, and sharp

Long-term pelvic pain during menstrual period

Pelvic pain after strenuous exercise or sexual intercourse

The effect of Alumen. Homeopathis medicine are:-

'The clinical application of this remedy points to its bowel symptoms, both in obstinate constipation and in hæmorrhage from bowels in the course of typhoid-one phase of the paralytic weakness of the muscles in all parts of the body. Tendency to induration is also marked, a low form of tissue-making is favored. Hardening of tissues of tongue, rectum, uterus, etc; ulcers with indurated base. Adapted to old people, especially bronchial catarrhs. Sensation of dryness and constriction.'

Symptoms like Hardening of tissues and constipation are the two similirarity to your mother for this remedy.

Specific names that are used in Allopathy are not that common in Homeo. Homeo goes by symptons and the circumstances that leads to produce a particular disease.

On this basis the 'Alumen' is prescribed.

Now it is for you to assess and if you have any other question, I would answer.

Further, while going into the above details, I find that there is mal-assimilation of Calcium in the body.

For this I would suggest additional remedy i.e. Calc. Phos 3X 4 pills once a day.

Calcium tablets as advised in Allopathic way do not get properly assimilated in the body and in proper proprotion.

This is my personal experience and I find Calc. Phos in lower potency works well at this age for correcting Calcium mal-absorbtion.

further I AM MORE WORRIED ABOUT HIGH CALCIUM IN HER. SHE HAD THIS ACUTE PANCREATITIS JUST BECAUSE OF THIS HIGH CALCIUM.

I have not recommened Gelsemium.

Although Gelsemium is also a remedy for Vaginismus but the condition of stool has to be different that is why I specifically asked if the patient has Constipation.

Dr. W. Boericke describes the stool condition as under :-

Stool.--Diarrhœa from emotional excitement, fright, bad news (Phos ac). Stool painless or involuntary. Cream-colored (Calc), tea-green.

I suggested Alumen. This is also a remedy for Ovarian cyst with constipation.

In Alumen the condition of stools is as under :-

Rectum.--Constipation of the most aggravated kind.

Further the medicine for Calcium will correct the defect of assimilation of Calcium in the body and it will it increase. If it is more it will get corrected.

In India the system of measurement indicates the normal Serum Calcium as

8.7-11

What you mentioned in this post is -- serum calcium 5.2 m eq/l.

I do not know the basis of this measurement which you say is high.

Pl. check and inform me so that I may correct the potency of Calc. Phos.

Pl. reply and decide what medicine you want to take.

I give 2 drops in half cup of water twice.

Sir,
I have the blood report in my hand. It says SERUM CALCIUM
