Sore soles and burning stomach problems

The bottoms of my soles hurt and are very tender. I cannot walk on hard surfaces without making them worse. Special orthodics no longer help so I purchased some very expensive shoes called MBT's which have a rocker bottom. They help somewhat but the problem is not solved. I cannot walk barefoot anymore but I always take my shoes off when I am sitting down as they feel better without constrictions.
I also have stomach problems, especially after midnight that cause me to belch up air. No food or taste in my mouth, just a burning feeling in my stomach that is relieved by belching up air. Can you help me find a symptom for two problems?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Any history of skin problems? particularly itching.

Thank you for responding. I had a very bad case of psoriasis on my elbows when I was about 12.

My podiatrist thinks I may have fibromyalgia of the feet. Is this possible?

Anniee last decade
How was this 'psoriasis' treated.

And when you say your feet hurt and get tender, would you say this is at the level of the skin, muscle, or bone? Do they feel hot at all?

Jacob2 last decade
I think the psoriasis was treated with corn huskers lotion and also sunlamps. It was better in summer. I would scratch my arms at night until they bled. I must have also outgrown it if that's possible. I also had acne.

The soreness is in the soft of my foot (muscle, tendon, etc.), not the bone. Yes, sometimes there is a burning feeling in my feet, sometimes achiness.

Coupled with your stomach problems and eructations amelioration

lyc. kali-c. carb-v. are indicated.

With your history of psoriasis I prefer to start with Lyco.

Is your psoriasis cured now?

Wait for the confirmation from Jacob.

Yes, the psoriasis was cured when I was 13 or so. Then acne in my teens and no other itching or skin problems since then. I am now 57.

Biggest problems are my feet; burning in my stomach around 3am which is relieved by belching up of air; and sleep problems. I often have a difficult time falling back asleep after being woken up with the stomach problems. I also have a difficult time falling asleep if I get to bed too late.

I'm still waiting to hear from someone as to what remedy to take, etc. Hope to hear from someone soon.

Hi Anniee,

Are both feet sensitive the same?
if you immerse them in cold or warm water-would that help?
Would you say the walking makes them worse? Pressure?

does any food/drink, hot or cold make your stomach better besides empty belching? Worse?
you say 'esp. at night'-do you mean when you are lying in bed?

Please answer these questions, however Jacob is the main prescriber here. The rest of us just tries to discuss the casee.

Stomach, eructations, night : ant-t., calc-s., calc., canth., carb-v., chel., crot-h., ham., kali-c., lyc., mang., merc., mur-ac., nux-v., ox-ac., phos., pip-m., puls., sulph., tanac., ther.

Kent's ... gives the following points - puls.( 3 )

Further in Pulsatilla:-

Feet burn, and he must put them out of bed. Soles bum and are bruised when walking.

Start with Pulsatilla. It is the best remedy.

How is yur thirst/appetite and for what?

Seems that she is not coming here anymore....

Meanwhile I repert. the little info that we had in Murphy and got kali-c and lyc. and less: carb-v and sulph.

Pulsatilla is not better by belching (modalities are important imo)

kali-c has all symptoms worse at night esp 2-4 am

I just checked back on this forum after not hearing from anyone for a long time and saw that I had some replies. Thank you! I will keep checking daily now.

Here are some answers to some of the questions:
Yes, both feet hurt equally the same - sometimes burning, sometimes aching, sometimes prickly feeling. Worse when standing or walking on hard surfaces. But especially standing.

I like both salty and sweet food and once I start eating either, I crave more. I do get thirsty and am usually drinking warm tea a lot during the day. I also like a cold bottle of ginger ale as it helps with my stomach.

The burning in stomach occurs in the early morning hours when I am sleeping, often between 2 and 3 am. To relieve the burning, I belch out air, often several times. There is no taste, just air/trapped wind. I do not eat or drink anything because it is the middle of the night. Once the air is all belched out, then I can lie down again, but it is often hard to get back to sleep.

So what should I begin with and at what dose, etc?

kali carb. yes. at 2-4 am and also at 5 pm.

Kali carb has an aggravation around 3 A.M., and no medicine should be taken during its specific aggravation period.

And it is not practical to take a medicine at 2-4 A.M. In this case, that time is contra indicated too.

Take it at any time convenient to you, twice a day, just for three days.

Wait for a week without any further medicine and come back.

It is O.K. that it may not be possible to take medicine at the time of aggravation i.e. 2AM.

But pl. suggest why it should not be taken at the time of aggravation.

Last night I had severe pain in the lower abdoman/bladder region (My Prostate is enlarged) and I immediately took Belladona. Within 2 minutes the pain subsided and I could sleep well.

The logic is simple.

A lyco patient normally has an aggravation period from 4P.M to 8P.M.

If you give him a medicine during that time, it may aggravate him further.

So, the best thing is to avoid giving medicines during the known aggravation periods.

This is applicable only for a few medicines like Kali carb, Lycopodium, Ars( Mid night), and some others where the time band is specified.

The genral aggravation periods like morning, night, aftrnoon etc are not that important and it won't prevent us to take the medicines for acute complaints as and when necessary.

What potency of Kali Carb should I take three times a day? 200 or 30?

I should mention that a week ago I took three does of Nat Mur 200 for the first time. I did not get any improvement with my stomach problem but my feet got much better! Then two nights ago I took some Nux Vomica 30 c to get back to sleep after a bad time with my stomach and in the morning my feet were hurting again. So did I antidote the Nat Mur? Would the Nat Mur eventually have helped with my stomach problems since I have had that problem much longer than the feet problem? Or was I getting an aggrivation from the Nux?

One other problem I forgot to mention is my hearing. I have a mild hearing loss that I noticed this past year and it often feels like my ears are blocked. Seems worse in the late afternoon and evening.

Hi

If you took nat.mur and felt better, no medicine for another one week atleast.

Come back again after a week.

Hello,

I'm checking back in to say there is no improvement in the soles of my feet or my stomach problems from the Nat Mur, so I'd like to try another remedy. What do you recommend? Thanks,

Annie

Anniee last decade
I suspect entestinal worms causing both the problems.

My suggestion is to take :-

Cina 30 4 pills in the morning and Nux Vom 30 4 pills in the evening atlest for 3 days and then report.

One medicine at a time please.

I think dr. faisal selection SULPHER is a better choice. since it is deep seated and anti psoric remedy and must be considered.

dr. mahfooz

So is it Sulpher then? What potency, how often, and how long?

Thanks!
