Rheumatism and Heart

Hi,

I have read when I used the Online Remedy Finder - Homeopathy Software that rheumatism seems to affecting the heart. As I have wrote about my father and his stroke, artrial fibrillation and osteoarthritis (see troja and romaroma in this forum). I wonder if someone think it can be a conncection in his case. Can it be a remedy for this perhaps?

Many thanks. In my father case it seems that Kali carbonicum (as well as Causticum) (deformed joints - according to a x-ray), Arnica montana (soreness and bruising), Bryonia alba (worse with movement and the body part is sensitive to touch), Cimicifuga racemosa (pain appears more in the muscles than in the bones), Rhus toxicodendron (The arthritis pains are worse on the first motion, worse from standing up from a sitting position but better from continued motion. Normally the symptoms are experienced first thing in the morning)and Ledum (first start at the feet, then the hips etc. arthritis pains). Now he takes Rhus tox and Causticum. Should he change? He now also recover from a stroke, which happened in end of july, but this is another subject (I am attending other dicussion about his paralysis).

Warfarin's
Warfarin is used to prevent and treat harmful blood clots. This medication helps to keep blood flowing smoothly in your body by decreasing the amount of clotting proteins in the blood. Warfarin is sometimes commonly referred to as a 'blood thinner,' but its more correct term is 'anticoagulant.' Conditions which increase your risk of developing blood clots include a certain type of irregular heart rhythm (atrial fibrillation), heart valve replacement, or a recent heart attack. Preventing harmful blood clots helps to reduce the risk of a stroke or heart attack

SIDE EFFECTS: Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach/abdominal bloating or cramps may occur. This medication can cause bleeding if its effect on your blood clotting proteins is too much (unusually high PT and INR results). Even if your doctor stops your medication, this risk can persist for up to a week.

In Homeo the above action of correcting Bloos picture is taken care by 'Lachesis'

However for the side effects, it transpired from the above noting that it ias affected the lever and entestinal lining.

She has developed side effects like Arthritis. That shows that her toxic effects from the body have not yet completely cured.

Many medicines are given. This also complicates the issue. My suggestion is that let the Toxicity of the above medicine be removed from her body and correct her lever and entestinal lining.

For this I would suggest to give her the following for week -

1. Nux Vom. 30 (1 drop in one spoon of water at bed time for a week.

2. Natrum Sulph 12X 4 pills
Thee times a day for a week

3. Calc. Phos 30x 4 pills three times a day for week.

For lever : (You cannot say it is completely cured)
may be having some problems, and for this my sugestion is to give R3 (15 drops in a spoon of water) three times a day. If suits to give it for a long time.

After this we can review the symptoms and advise her right medicine for Arthritis etc.

Hi, Rajendra

Do suggest that he should stop all homeopathic remedies (now causticum, rhus tox and arnica 30D: 1 pill of each a day) or the warfarin or both? And start with your advice.

Causticum, rhus tox, arnica, are all relating to Rheumatic/Arthritis pain.

One of them or any other can be identified after the side effects of the Alopathic remedy are controlled.

For this I gave the above advice on 23rd.

'Warfarin' to be reduced slowly in consultation with its prescriber and for that the Blood thickness test is to be conducted.

I advised Lachesis 200 (1 drop) once a week for reducing Blood thickness which will not have the side affects on lever etc. This can be taken but the Blood test to be checked with atleast a week's interval so that as soon as the Blood thickness is below normal, the Alopathic medicine be stopped. Even Lachesis may not be required. 'Lachesis' is said to regulate blood thickness even by one dose.

The other remedies I suggested is to improve the patient's condition due to the bad effects of the Alopathic drug. These can be started.

Don't take these Homeo remedies on the day Lacheses is taken in the morning and if 'Lachesis' is taken at bed time them on the next day no other Homeo remedy for one day.

Wish a speedy recovery.

Lachesis 200c will not reduce the blood thickness. On the other hand it may make matters worse.

Who says it will make worse. May I know which author has mentioned so?

Book mentioned about Lacheses as under :-

'Lachesis decomposes the blood, rendering it more fluid'

I have tried and there are Diagnostic report about it with the patient that the Blood thicness is reduced by 'Lachesis'

My Dear Rajendra

I explained in another thread why Lachesis in potencies can't reduce the blood thickness.

Lachesis poision can do that. Not in potencies.

In the thread you have mentioned, my friend has mentioned the following causes of Thickness of Blood :-

'increase of lipid profile, esr high, urea, creatinine, uric acid, aso +ve, rheumatic factor may positive,'

ESR is high - there is indication of infection and possibly inflamation in some part of the body.

Urea and creatinine are indicative of Kidney problems which may have caused due to Infection etc.

Rheumatic factor can be various causes specially due to long entestinal disorders.

I have yet to reconcile that the above factors are due to Thichness of blood or whether the thickness of blood is causing these factors.

Thickness of Blood can be a domnent cause of the Bad Lever function. It is one of the main functin of Lever to manufacture/supply and provide the right type of Blood to the system.

Lacheses is indicated in Reporatory by Robin Murphy too - not only to reduce thickness but is also suggested for those patient where the blood is thin.

We may go further in this matter as one of the function of 'Lachesis is to correct the thicknes of the blood whether to make it thick or to make it thin depending upon the patient's requirement. So we can say it is the corrector of Blood thickness/thinness.

I will deal separately the point that you have mentioned in the same thread there.
