Gavini/other docs please help

This is to request help for my mother who is having running nose for the last 5 days. I have been giving her Ferr Phos 6x and Gelsemium 30 in wet dose but it is not working. Then I changed Gelsemium to Belladona 30 wet dose but no effect. She is also feeling cold but no fever.

Also she had pain at the back of her right knee for which I have her Mag Phos 6x in warm water for three days. The pain went away and we stopped this medicine but after 5 days she has again reported the same problem. Please help.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Why is her nose runny, is she under the spell of change of weather?

Yes she came from India recently in USA East coast at Ohio where I stay. So this might be change of weather.

One more thing her stomach is also upset.

Can anyone suggest a remedy for the above. I am inclining towards Nux Vomica 30. Please suggest.

If there is dripping of clear fluid despite nose block it is Ars.alb. It has relief from warmth.

If the nose block alternates from one nostril to the other, and the coryza is worse outdoors, it is Nux.vomica.

Dulcamara is also good for change of weather, particularly when there is a change from dry to wet weather.

In case you can't decide you can start with nux.vomica. Give three doses within 6 hours and observe.

If the relief is not total, then you can try Ars. in a similar way. Ars follows Nux. well.

Finally you may try Dulcamara too.
