Hunger pangs even after eating fully.

I have been suffering from the problem of feeling empty and hungry despite eating fully and regularly. Infact just after eating there is a feeling of hollow empty feeling in the stomach which grows into real hunger soon. I am getting treatment for acute GERD for long but no rrelief in this context.I saw that one member here carmelisa (posting on 15/3/2006) had exactly the same problem and seems to have got relief from Nux Vomica 200c. Kind I get any suggesstion in this matter.

you seem to be a phosphorus patient.

please take PHOSPHORUS 200C three doses on a single day at 4 to 6 hours gap in empty stomach.

come back after 15 days.

if you feel the remedy has helped you to some extent, report back for further follow up doses.

Thank u so much Dr Akshaymohi & Dr Rishimba.
Do i get these medicines Iodium 30c & phosperous 200C from a homeopathy shop or a alopathy shop.
thank u again.

jeegs last decade
you will get these remedies in a homeopathy shop only.

more importantly, please dont mix remedies.

take one remedy at a time and wait for 20 days. if its working then you will take its next dose only when the symptoms return.

otherwise, if the remedy fails even in about 20 days to show any improvement, take the other remedy.

Thank u Dr Rishimba. We have some homeopathy clinics here in Gangtok, Sikkim (India). Do u think I can get them here. Also I will start with Phosperous 200C initially. can I take them with my normal aloapthy medicines ie ganatone 50mg,Dexid & enzymes since my reflux is quite bad.
thanks

jeegs last decade
Dr Rishimba, Please let me know if it is ok to take phosperous along with my normal alopathy medicines. also if this is a one day course for a start. thanks..jeegs!

reflux is one of the main symptoms of phosphorus patients.

if you can manage to stay away from allopathic medication for a few weeks its better for you in the long run.

thats because, after the initial re-alignment phase of 4 to 5 days, your reflux is also going to get cured in the long run by phosphorus.

you should get these medicines in sikkim.

Yes I want to badly getaway from the alopathy medicines. Please tell me for how many days should i take the phospoprous 200c and does it have any adverse reaction to alcohol as soon we are having our festivals. Thank u so much for ur guidance

jeegs last decade
it would all depend on what kind of response are you showing to the first dose set of phosphorus.

if you feel its overall helping you in the next 20 days, i would suggest you to take PHOS 1M once every month for next three months.

trust, you would get a long term relief with that.

i suggest you should not take alcohol within 2 to 3 days of the remedy, before and after.

take the remedy in empty stomach and clean mouth. dont take any food one hour before or after the remedy.

after going through the mentals of this person specially the fears of future worsening of the problem his constitutional remedy will be KALI-CARBONICUM.So take only three doses of kali-carb-30 at half hour interval on a single day.kali-carb covers you as a whole which is the basic point of prescription in classical homeopathy.report after one week please.

Dr R Saini, Thank u so much for your advice. I shall try your medicine after the phosporous 200c as suggested by Dr Rishimba earlier in the forum. Thank u again-Jeegs!

kali carb has disgust for food.

the patient's sensations do not describe kali carb.

however, if phos fails, you can give it a try with kali carb.

thanks dr. saini for your contribution.

rishimba last decade
Thank you Dr. rishimba. selection of Phos too is correct so far as physical symtoms are concerned.phos is averse to thunders, rains on mental plane as kali-c repulsive to food.pangs of hunger and feeling emptiness in the pit of stomach are merely physical expressions of the disorder, whereas the mental state of the sufferer in this case is covered by the following rubrics on a deeper mental level.
1.Anxiety hungry when.
2.anxiety future about.
3.Delusions emptiness, of .
4.vivacious.
Kali- carb is common to all these rubrics.thanks.

rssaini18 last decade
i wouldnt form these rubrics on the first place.

here the mental symptoms are not predominant. i dont find any statement by the patient which indicates he is intensly anxious or worried when he is hungry.

the patient is a cheerful character with many friends but it is a general statement. i dont think i could use this as a rubric 'vivaciuos'.

moreover, the sensation of kali carb is more of bloating, lump in the stomach or stomach full of water. hunger and emptyness is more in phosphorus.

i would base my prescription on the most dominant sensation presented by the patient, whether it is mental or physical. in this case, its physical.

kalicarb would come as a second choice if at all.

thank you dr. rishimba.mind being the supercomputer of the human body ,always scores over the later and all the more predominance of mental syptoms in the form of versions and speech of the patient tells about the mental state of the person after all it is the person who is sick and his organs alone.literal meaning of any expression does not form a rubric we have to see the hidden sentiment or meaning conveyed by it.thank you for your comments.

rssaini18 last decade
DR.RISHIMBA,
Pl.read the line as it is the person who is sick and not his organs alone.

rssaini18 last decade
I agree that we have to see the hidden sentiments and underlying mental themes of patients.

I think the priority order of the rubrics should be

No.1) Core Delusions

No.2) Never well since events

No.3) Mental and Emotional symptoms

Generals, aversions , cravings and chief complaints come only after all the above.

sensations are felt by the mind.

generalities also give an idea of the mind as well.

i would pick up anything peculiar or strange or intense delusion, delirim if i feel its there.

in this case, the sensation was at the top of the list.

generalities match phos as well.
