Cornea- dryness, Photosensitivity

Hello

I had an eye operation in october called C3R, to treat the keratoconous, it is basicalyy to arrest the progression of keratoconous. the only thing which was disturbed during the operation was the epithilum of my eyes. Now its been 8 weeks since operation I still have lot of photosensitivity, i cannot go out in sun even with the sunglasses, its difficuilt to look straight as water start comming in the eye, is there any medicine in homeopathay which can help healing cornea? coz i m not taking any medicine just using the lubricants thats it, please help as i m getting frustrated.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Staphysagria is most likely to help you.

It is likely to heal the cornea faster as well as reduce the sensitivity o sunlight.

Take 4 pellets in 6c potency daily twice for a week and report back.

Staphysagria is likely to help all forms of photo sensitivity, not only sun light.

I have taken the first dose of the medicine advised earlier which was 'Staphysagria' what you say abt this.
And in your case how much time did it took to get away with the photosensitivity? did the homeopathy helped you? what lubricants you use?
I am using lacri lube, at night and evening and eye drops during the day

Hi
can you see your post dated in july2007.
staphis can cure if there is blunt cut i hope so there is no cut maybe... still try silicea along with lacri lube.
when did you had surgery and what did they done? it will take time by the time should be ok you don't need to worry about it.
thanks

Hello

I had a surgery in october 2007, it is a non invasive surgery called the cornea collogen crosslinking with riboflavin, basically used to strengthen the cornea and to arrest the further progression of keratoconos.
