Hi All,

Does anyone have any positive stories of cures from or amelioriation of chronic diseases? Or recommendations for any books written from the patient's perspective? The patient's journey, so to speak. I am trying my best to find a way through in my own (very long!) journey but am confused by the different sorts of homeopathy (should there even be different sorts & do some not even count as true 'homeopathy') and by the vexed question of what to do regarding high blood pressure (if a classical approach isn't bringing it down but allopathic drugs are seen as a no no). How can one know what to do for the best?

Hi There,

Sorry. I should have been clearer. I am not asking for treatment or suggestions for my own medical problems (which are significant and would take a while to desbribe). I would simply like to read more about chronic conditions which have been helped or cured completely. Also more about typical patient responses and timeframes for these responses. Have read Hahnemann but really feel I need something written from the patient's perspective. Also, if possible, something recent, with modern disease labels - eg, not 'Bright's disease, but the specific name of the kidney disease and how long and how successful treatment was.

Also some clarity about taking allopathic meds alongside homeopathic ones. 'Homeopaths' seem to treat patients in very different ways. In the past, one told me that the blood pressure drugs I was taking would be fine, they made the postion more difficult to determine but not impossible, and she would work alongside my doctor. Another will not treat patients who are taking any other meds. Why the discrepancy and which approach is likely to be more successful in the case of chronic diseases? How does the patient know which homeopath to choose for the best results, and how can we decide on an acceptable level of risk in the meantime (eg, how high can blood pressure be allowed to climb whilst still persisting with a classical approach?).

Some guidance and information would be helpful.

many thanks

If no specific advice, are there any books for patients, or other resources? It's very important to make the right decision, after all, and it seems to me that many approaches which call themselves 'homeopathic', really aren't.

Hi Moominmamma,

I am not sure whether me or anyone else would have understood your question. I found cure or amelioration of chronic disease. My brother's case is one which stands as the best authentication for cure / improvement by homeopathy, the case which could not be handled by senior, experienced Allopathy doctors.

Initially, I myself was a disbeliever of Homeopathy, with a local doctor, here. It was just a patch up and nothing more. But after getting advice from this forum, from Kuldeep, the story was entirely different. I have to thank him for the resurrection of my brother, now aged 67 years. Later on Dr Deoshlok Sharma, created wonders with his treatment. Tell me whether there is any doctor in allopathy, who could bring back serum creatinine level from 4.5 to 1.2, along side blood urea from 80 to 25, within 10 days ? Also the Blood sugar level came down from 470 to 108 (PP), within a short span.

Wonders have been created by the doctors of this forum. It is not an exaggeration. It is a fact.

The fact also remains that Homeo doctors do not bother much about vital system in human body, through which these remedies work. If that has been set right, I am sure anyone can have fast, safe and sure cure by homeopathy.

Further, it is not just homeopathy that is being discussed here. You would have noticed one Mr Murthy, replying your post. His one suggestion about EFT, has helped me quite a lot. I am sorry that I did not thank him in this forum. It is a great method, giving magical effects.

Hi Kns

Thank you for remembering me. Though I did converse with you a couple of times, it is not me who suggested about EFT. I don't want to take credit where it is not due. :-)

Experiences like yours are a source of inspiration for many to try out homeopathy.

Glad that you shared a few sucess stories.

Respected Mr Murthy,

Please excuse me for not intimating the usefulness of EFT. IT IS YOU, THROUGH WHOM I CAME TO KNOW ABOUT IT. OF COURSE, YOU DID NOT WRITE IT TO ME, IT WAS IN A DIFFERENT CASE THAT YOU MENTIONED ABOUT EFT. I read your post and picked up the thread and became a member in that site and continuing to reap the benefits, absolutely free. It is amazing.. My 18 years old daughter got rid of her leg sprain in 5 minutes, without any medicine. On the psychiatric front, it has great effect. There is something called PPP, which is really great. We can have a war-free, terror-free calm peaceful world, if that is used by all. There is Clearing the chakras using EFT. This has marvellous effect.

The credit is ONLY DUE TO YOU. Without you writing about it, I could not have known about it. (Perhaps I am the thief. I read it in your advice to someone else regarding stiff neck and stress releasing).

Please continue writing about these great inventions useful to the world. Service to humans is service to God.

Many thanks,

I suppose what I'm really seeking is greater clarity regarding patient choices, esp. with regard to chronic diseases.
So, from the practitioner's perspective, advice on the type of homeopath to choose and on how to gauge progress, likely duration of treatment, diet and other factors (including discontinuing any allopathic meds) etc. And, from the patient's perspective, advice on their own progress, milestones, turning points, duration of treatment, what they expected and how the results compared. Are there any publications which give more detail on the patient's experience - from hopes, expectations, prognosis to outcomes and reviews of their treatment, successful or not?
