piles Or fissures or something else

Since past one month, I have been suffering from some discomfort in the anal section.
I had hard stools to start with which was causing pain in the anus. I thot it was pilesand based on some natural home remedies, changed my diet (to include fruits etc) and started drinking lot of water.
But its almost a month now and i still feel some discomfort while sitting for a long time and after bowel movement. My stools are normal now but once or twice i saw very little just minute red spots on the stool surface.
I am not sure if it is piles / fissures or something else ?

please advise.
