Can someone reccomend a better moderated forum?
Can someone reccomend a better moderated forum? I prefer to post and read on a forum where respect, kindness and courtesy prevails. It is my desire to learn more and to improve my own health and that of my family.I began reading about homeopathy about 25 years ago and have been using it off and on very minimally for that long. I began using it much more about 9 years ago.
My primary interest is in classical homeopathy, but I am also interested in innovations in homeopathy and in sequential homeopathy.
Can someone please reccomend a forum where I will find what I am looking for?

I really do see what is going on here, I do. I have read quite a bit to understand the personalities and have seen for myself with my own requests for assitance how some members of this community operate. I have a sense that there may be a deep need for attention and for some outside affirmation, if you will; a desire to be appreciated.
However, wish to stay out of the fray. I just want to discuss homeopathy and I don't want all of this attacking back and forth. I see that it is going both ways; an attack and then a defense. We have to let it go. People have differences of opinions. Those who stick around and are here to learn will know and see.
When I read a post, I am more interested in why a particular remedy, how it is dosed and why that potency, etc. Details are important.
I want to interact with folks who have a genuine desire to help others, a spirit of cooperation and love. Is there a forum where this exists with very good homeopaths who are willing to share freely their information and experience?

Yes....Hpathy dot com.
There....seven replies out of ten are like :
'Go see a practicing classical homeopath near to your home.'
There are no controversies there...coz there is very little guidance there.
If by any chance...some one gives some guidance...the Moderator there pounces upon him / her.
So they only discuss homeopathic books there.

At hpathy, they are in utter harmony. Mostly they all are sleeping but they all wake up when their immunity system wakes up. Or anytime they disagree they all wake up.
Same thing happens in India at night, suddenly all dogs wake up.

Hello Cordial,
It is a imperfect world with imperfect people who have imperfect actions.
The sooner you learn to live with it...better of... you will be.
It is not just about this Forum or any other ....it is about life too.
Sooner or later one has to learn to cope with it...in his / her own way.
If you remain polite and gentle, a lot of people want to treat you like a door mat. At some stage ...one has to stand up and get counted.
Knowingly or unknowingly, all preformers wish to get appreciated....it is human nature.
Try taking away appreciation from your child....and you will know the consequences.
It is the same way with every one.
Just to let you know...some people have left this Forum ...just becoz ...some guys here put on their boxing gloves (that is putting it mildly).

If one needs a heavily moderated forum (chokingly moderated) she can visit hpathy.com.
But there patient is either ignored or told to go away. If one prescribes, all others jump to the prescriber's throat.
Yes if one makes a post concernign -- Homeopathy, Organon, Aggravation etc ... all jump and stumble over each other to make posts after posts, suddenly all wake up and become PhD. (Philosophy of Homeopathy's Doctor)
This all setup reminds me of the people who teach swimming theoretically without even going near water.
These kind of people brought homeopathy to shambles, made it look like some heavy philosophy but fallacious and impractical phenomenon.

You are partly right. The philosophy there is better be cautious than regret later.
I for one am trying to make sure that cases with enough information are attended to.

Why this site is so successful, why we two still can co-exist on this website...
Because it is not moderated. Either moderator is dragged into the conflicts or he had no choice to step in to prevent ugly situations.
But at Hpathy.com everybody (who belongs there) is moderator or behaves like a moderator. Everybody is PhD. There is no room for a patient or anybody who is not like THEM to survive.
Now sites like hpathy are not healthy sites but a closed end, strict and fixed theme sites. It is an Afghanistan of the Taliban era.
Those are not the sites but a meeting place of the like minded people. They are closed to others. Probably you know that I have my ID there but never made a post, never felt like it. Visited there a couple to times but site did not attract me only repelled me. I am a person who keep away from debates or at least debates when the debaters have ready made predetermined conclusion.
A diversity of people (including me and you) built up this site and made famous.

If a site deals with the patient, walks with the patient, talks with the patient do not abandon the patient, patient stays, becomes friend of the site and becomes a member of community.Becomes a perpetual participant of the community.
At hpathy like sites, patient is unwanted. He it told to get lost. He is not walked with or talked with, his feeling are not shared, he is not listened.
Not just the medicine heals but the attention heals. In this world if patient is given a feeling that we are just listening to him, even if we just provide him a random medicine, we WILL cure the patient, gain a friend for ever and this site also gain a member of the community who will be always available to propagate the community. yeah, not just medicine is needed to cure patient. Patients come to forums to chat and participate in their own healing. In the process healing starts. Not just medicine cures. If you just kick out patient or just tell him to take a dose and report after 2 weeks is as good as giving the patient a solid slap on his face.
Ofcourse you may hypnotize patient initially with the philosophy but what good that philosophy serves. We are seeing the result that homeopathy is losing in all educated world but gaining in only in the communities who have their roots in the believing without facts.

In India they have banks where they have stored number of times the God's name is written on the paper. That's where they have brought the homeopathy to.

Oh yeah! they are in utter agreement there. They chant the same thing over and over like parrots.
I don't know why they just stay there and chant, then many other things I don't know that why just people chant at all.
Funniest thing is that they have a separate patient forum, actually they have just put a wall around patient to let them rot, feed them lots of lectures but no medical advise. And then they have discussion forum with heavy duty quantity of topics and posts. I think they all should be awarded hundreds of Phd's each person for same redundant junk. Heavyduty philosophy.
