constipated 2 year old girl
my daughter eats a well balanced diet and drinks plenty of fluids- she recently is having trouble going number two. any ideasquincykoz on 2008-01-05

she is getting her two year molars- but she has never gotten constipated before when teething. i have not introduced any new food; she has been a yogurt kick though. can you give flaxseed oil to children?

I am glad that Dr.Faisal remembered about castor oil.
That is the grandma's medicine for constipation and always works.
Some times that may be all that is required.
However don't repeat it, as such laxatives if used frequently make the child more constipated later.
