Fluid in lungs

Hi all, thanks for your suggestions. I checked out Ant - T and Arsenicum, don't seem to fit profile - she doesn't have any expectoration. The Lung is filled and they have to put in a second large tube to drain it. Today the doctor said it may be filled with jelly like substance (I'm suspecting he meant to say mucous but was simplifying it?). As for the Natrum Sulph. there are two differnt remedeies:Natrum Sulphurosum and Natrum Sulphuricum - which is the right one? Thanks again for your responses. I am hoping to deliver her of surgery as the doctor said she may not survive it. Again, thanks.

Again thanks for everything. So much has happened since our last email. To answer your questions;
1- the doctors have no idea what is causing fluid in the lungs although we are believing it is a secondary effect from the dialysis. They inserted a final catheter in her several days ago and this is their last resort. They gave her a medication called dilaudin which has caused her to become delusional and paranoid. So now we are dealing with both situations. I am pretty desperate.
(2) She is often able to breath without oxygen - her saturation levels are about 94 although she is back on the oxygen at the moment.
(3) She prefers to stay on her right side but that is because it hurts her too much from those tubes they've had in her on the left side.
(4) ironically she was seemingly regaining her strength and abilities for about a month before this hit her. For the first time since her surgery removing her right kidney she was beginning to have more energy, bake cookies, etc. then she had a fever, goes into the hospital, they misdiagnose her for 10 days then they figure out she has pneumonia with fluid build up. She has never had this specific problem before.
(3) other symptoms she keeps suffering from since dialyses = lots of pains (gout like), rheumatic and arthritic (at least that's what the doctors diagnosed).
(4) she was direly disappointed that none of her children would come live with her and take care of her in her old age. she didn't take into account that 4 of her 5 children suffer from auto immune diseases themselves and could barely look after themselves. emotionally she felt abandoned and rejected but that is sadly something she's suffered since childhood - however, in her old age she has magnified it.

I think that's about it. As of today they have removed the catheter as nothing was coming out of it. However, the xrays show that she still has fluid in the lungs. Plus this paranoia and delusions have made her very vicious, mean and insulting. It is impossible to be around her for long, especially for those of us who are already suffering with our own stuff. So if there is any rememdy or combo remedies we can use to help her, you would be blessing me completely as I do not know how long I can go on like this without having another crisis of my own. sorry i forgot to add that she is unable to eat as she is nauseous every time she sees the food (again side effect of dilaudin???). she thinks people are conspiring to kill her. she even accuses us (her children) of being a part of the conspiracy. won't answer the phone because she thinks they'll track her down through it, etc. it's very, very disturbing. again thanks.

Thank you again. The reason you don't hear from me regularly is that I am at the hospital daily and don't have internet access at home. I have to find places where I can come on to read this plus the energy to even do it (I suffer from stage 4 FM and CFS). Anyhow, had to order the Natrium Sulph and just got it tonight so will be starting it on her tomorrow. I will certainly keep you updated and again thanks for your time, effort and good advice.

again, thanks. she's used it now for one week and so far doctors say she's o.k. how long does she need to remain on the treatment? is there a way to prevent this from returning? again, thanks all of you. now we are dealing with pains but at least it looks like she'll be on her way to convalesence soon. thanks again for your help.
