Pilonidal cyst
Hi Dr. Pankaj,I need help (your guidance) In curing my Pilonidal cyst. I had it before in 2002 and had surgey and now it came back and I read your steps to cure on abchomepathy. Please help.
I was on some other website and some one asked me to take the following medcine and I ordered and they have yet to delivered.
Following was told to me to get :
For a week take only Calcarea Sulphurica 6X 3-4 tablets thrice a day.
This will make the cyst ripe very fast, in the matter of hours or if a very complicated cyst, in the matter of two days. Boil will start draining. Some boils are very stubborn and have many roots, depends upon the individual immunity because pilloniday cyst and boils are a matter of immunity, so those boils may take longer than a week to mature. Keep taking this calcarea-sulphurica till the pilloniday cyst is matured and drained.
Now take Myristica 200c to finish the job. Once a day for a week.
At the end to close up the wound and bring the flow to inwards, take Silicea 200C, once a day for 2 weeks.
Pleas help if the above is right or suggest some thing that you think can cure my cyst.

Again in the month of september he had to take same remedies.
Now again after 3 months he has same problem. Yesterday I gave him Myristica 200 at night. But this time he has pain also and he cannot sit. Cyst is not yet burst. Please suggest some remedy for relief of pain and further course of action. Thanks.

I wish you had got in touch with me directly earlier ...as you must have seen many have benefitted from my advice.
Donot start with Silicea until the cyst bursts.

Myristica is for bursting open the cyst.
If one does does not do the job, give second dose of Myristica 200 after 5 days...and another after 5 more days.
For pain...you can try Belladona 200 C ...three doses in a gap of half hour.

My son's pain is reduced considerably with 2 doses of bell 200. His cyst is just burst. Should I start with silica 6x of 6c or 30c. please advice. Thanks.

I read many books over and over again...and I gave you that reply from memory..in an instant after reading the question.
However, some books have said ...if abcess is painful then first try Belladona. If it fails ..then look for other meds...coz in 90% cases it will take away the pain.
Have found it to be correct many times.
I did not repertorise.
However...if there is redness around the abcess and pain is of throbbing nature ...then Belladona is certainly called for.

I am quite familiar with this matter.
Let me first tell you about the surgery side of it.
In allopathy the answer to this problem is surgery.
However, at the end of it... the surgeon will warn you that if the area is not kept free of hair and perspiration is not frequently dried up (from the area of the sinus)....it can happen again. Many times it does recur.
This kind of thing happens to constitutions (individuals) who have an internal tendency to pus formation.
Although you will see only one wound (with pus) on the lower most part of the back....the pus is actually travelling from within the body through 2 or 3 channels to that site.
Now the homeopathic side.
First you need to push all the pus out on to the skin.
Let the wound burst and keep cleaning it out.
Next is to dry it up totally.
This is important:
Silicea ...in lower potencies like 6, 12, 30 promotes the expulsion of the pus.
In higher potencies like 200 , 1M etc. it promotes drying up of the area where the pus existed.
And the patient needs Myristica to burst open the wound. (this is the knife of the homeopath...much more accurate and faster than a surgeon's knife).
I will give you more of my comments on this later as I have to rush for an important meeting.
But I will try to do it soon.

That needs Belladona...which you have taken.
Homeopathy works inward to outward. In 2/3 days you will probably see more pus pushing out of openings.
Let it happen. Apply Calendula cream on the area.
If pain is there...you can take another dose of Belladona 2moro morning.

Hi Dr. Pankaj,
Some more red spot appeared. Earlier spots one of them hurt so I took Belladona today morning. It is also swallon like a little bump.
On the puse side. Puse had started draning from the opening little more than yesterday. I also saw little blood on the cotton pad (That opening area doesn't hurt).
