Grand Daughter Clinging to Mother

My two year old grand daughter is quite healthy and without any problem. She is a happy person and plays sell around the house either by herself or with her 5 years old brother.

But she does not mix with or go to any visitor in the hoiuse. During the course of visitors' stay, she will always cling to her mother or her father. But mostly to mother. May be it could be due to some kind of fear complex.

I was wondering if any Doctor
could suggest some remedy for this kind of behaviour.

In case more information is required, please let me know.

Many thanks for so many quick responses.

Responding to John's query,
she has been this way since very beginning. But mostly it is when there is some visitor or even any other family member outside her home's forewalls. Otherwise, she is quite healthy and there are no apparent ailments.

Thanks again for all the responses.
