Noise penetrating arms and legs

Has anyone ever come across a case where the patient has the following symptom?

The slightest noise (it could be a creak in the house or a penny that falls to the floor four rooms over) penetrates the patient's arms and legs. I am aware of Theridion penetrating the teeth (which I do NOT have), but I haven't been able to find my specific symptom.

I have been under the care of homeopaths for many years now, but haven't had much luck in resolving my core problems (the above symptom being just that - a symptom - but not the core problem).

Any ideas anyone?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hello Sn.

When you say the noise penetrats the arms and legs, how so? You mean the noise is felt throughout the limbs?

Also of course we do not prescribe on just one symptom, as you seem to already know, and very often such specific symptoms as you have given are not always listed, so it becomes necessary to look at the rubric from other avenues and take into account everything else which is going on when making a choice.

It's difficult to describe how the noise penetrates my body, but I will try.

Example: I might be typing away at my desk, everything still and quiet, when all of a sudden, my dog will let out a sigh. I end up feeling the sigh run through my legs, my arms. Or, maybe an email will come over the tube, 'you've got mail.' The suddenness of it will cause the same feeling. I think even a visual flash on the TV runs through my body.

To the contrary, when I walk around the park with my dog, I do not feel these sensations - even if a loud firetruck goes blaring through the neighborhood.

While I would probably never go to a homeopath complaining about these problems, I thought they might offer a clue that would lead to a correct prescription for my lifelong, chronic complaints: feeling sort of 'out there,' spacey, not feeling a strong sense of self, issues to do with victim and power. The only physical complaint would be head pressure (not a head ache, have only had a few of those in my life).

Hmm, just to clarify then, this only occurs when you are inside, or is it just when things are silent?

I have a remedy in mind here, but I would need to know a lot more about your case before I would suggest this, as there are obviously some deeper problems which need resolving.

If you feel comfortable posting this here, I am happy to help. Alternatively, you may contact me privately, free of charge of course.
