Hang nail infection

My 13 year old daughter bit off a hangnail and now it throbs, is red with some whiteish parts around the nail and I suspect it may be infected. What should I give her?

Silicia or Hep.Sulph whatever is selected I suggest oral application of Calendola-Q and One dose of Calendola 200 daily because it has examplary results.
