Hello.

If I may ask, are you caring for your mother at home?

Two main medicines are Flouric Acidum 30 and Arnica 6c.

Higher potency of Arnica will not work.

Also sponge the sores with calendula lotion. Mix 10 drops of calendula mother tincture in about 100ml. of water to make the lotion.

Murthy

My humble suggestion for the patient are;

1. give her one dose of calendola-200 daily ( 3 drops)
2. Wash the wound as per murthy advise.
3. Assure to change the side of the patient at a regular interval or Keep him up atleast for 1/2 hour with your suppor or pillow.

Dear Anurag,

My two sisters were suffering from bedsores as they were bedridden due to Fredrich's Ataxia and their sores just went on increasing. My younger sister eventually died from them.

Later someone suggested a waterbed for my elder sister. Once we put her on it her old bedsores healed and she never had another one till her death last year. She was on the waterbed for more then 8 years.

Please note that a waterbed is quiet different from a air mattress or an inflatable beach mattress.

You should seriously consider one for your grandmother.

RS

Dear Sir,
thanks or your reply, here i would like to mention that from june2007 to nov2007 my grand mother was on water bed in last week of nov2007 as winters started catching up so she felt a lot of coolness due to waterbed so we removed water from the waterbed and pumped airinside the water bed,i hope that water bed turned airbed is equally compatible to the previous waterbed?

Anurag,
I am not sure if you are using the medical version waterbed as I was using for my sister because that bed could not be filled with air.

You are right the water inside the bed did become very cold in winters and can be very harmful for the patient.

For this problem the waterbed companies offer a water heater which is placed under the waterbed.

From your name I assume that you are in India. I searched the net and found the following address. Maybe they might be able to help you out.
