Eczema at 5 months

My 5 month baby started to have milk spots and very dry patchy skin. I observed this was after his immunisations. Now he has very hard skin at the elbow and behind his calf. His skin is extremly dry within seconds when an emilent is applied, we've trid several remedies the GP prescribed cortisone steriod and emoilent but it sems not to improve. What shold I do we all beleagured.

Kali sulph 6x one tablet thrice a day for a week.Don't supress the problem by applying external lotions and creams etc.

Well I don't have any pasyt history with any skin disease save my wife who says she had an extreme rash on her skin when she was a baby clearing until two years.
