Side effect of homio medicine
i here that there is no side effect of homio medicine.but when i see possitive and surprising effects of homio medicine in verious problems,i think that it should be possible that if wrong or unnecessary medicine has been takan some side effects is possible .pl. guide me abt this.milind98077 on 2008-02-24

It CAN have side effects IF used incorrectly.
The incorrect things that can cause side effects could be , too high a potency to start with, a wrong remedy or undue repetition of the correct remedy. One potency (apart from LMs) is not repeated more than 2-3 times with the higher ones just given once.

some remedies like acid phos, baryta carb or china etc. are generally repeated several times before they show up any action.
most remedies can be repeated at optimum intervals for some 3 times in the same potency.
nosodes, which are given in high and very high potencies, are not repeated at all.
in acute cases, very low potencies can be repeated till the ameliorations of symptoms.

There is really no hard and fast rule.
There are patients who get accessory symptoms after the first dose itself.
There are patients who can take medicines month together in unchanged potencies for months together without any side effects.
All depends on the sensitivity of the patient. Read Koppikar's experiences.

side effect means longterm losses not purticular times shortterm problem. for example in alopathy some drugs become cause of kidney or some parts of body disorder. short term or immedaite effacts may be happened in any cosume evan food. sir what you think abt. long term effects? if some homiopath dignosed wrong and given purticular medicine and petiont consume it (wrong medicine)for long time. what happened then please advice.(I am not Homiopath doctor only a person aged 44 and undergone triple bypass surgery in April 2007 and try to find out post opretive soluttions for some problems)

It is not proper to take any homeopathic medicine for a long time.
Even the right remedy can cause problems if taken for too long.
Stop taking the medicine the moment you get troublesome symptoms and consult your homeopath.

I am fine. I do visit the forum regularly.The need for my intervention has come down now a days.
Thanks to the present lot of prescribers who are trying to stick to a single medicine at a time philosophy.
I will be more active when I have to protect the patient from thoughtless/dangerous prescriptions.
If you see me less here,it means everything is more or less in order. :-)

i do not belive in self meditation of any pathy.
i am a person aged 44 undergone bypass surgery. i am surprised why its attack on me.as i am living cheerful life with joy.every year i traval a lot.
last year i have visited hard kailash manas yatra with parikrama. ok leave it. now i wanrt some advice from you after my post opretive problems.can you give me?
what type of information you need. if you are positive abt helping me i want to present you myself totaly open.(before dr and lawyar every one have to disclose all i here)can you help me to face my remaining post bypass life as like as before. waiting for your replay. bye

Good to know that you are doing fine and keeping an eye on things ;)
I have come to the conclusion that the best way to promote classical prescribing is by using it to produce results. Otherwise the non-classical prescribers always take refuge in the cases they have cured (or should I say suppressed).

I normally don't prescribe on forums except for acute cases.
Moreover the prescribers here are many, where as those who have the inclination to monitor the prescriptions are very few.
This forum is unique in the sense that it has no moderators who keep an eye on the advices that are being given.
That is the role I took upon myself despite heavy odds. I feel I too am serving the visitors in my own way.
