skin irritation around eye
I am a 29 year old female. I have had some skin irritation under my left eye for approximately 4 weeks. It is slightly puffing just to a small patch just under the bottom lashes, it seems to be slowly getting worse. Some skin dryness/flakiness and now some itching. In addition the eye, I have had a dry, irritating cough that usual starts in the early evening, and has been present on and off since November. Could be related, so thought I would mention it. Other random symptoms are burning in the right ear to pressure and movement (skin stretching) and fairly external feeling. No change with rx drops nor ear oil. Any thoughts on any of these issues. Possibly allergy? I do have 2 cats 2dogs, but I have had them for many years.princessen on 2008-02-25

Dr. Tahira, Thank you for your recommendations, but what do you suppose this could be caused by so that I may also address the cause of it and not just the symptoms.

By ur symptoms it seems an allergy or insect bite.Apply cold water on ur eyes.Avoid spicy food for eye problem can aggravate with spice.
