silica baby
Misi is 16 months old, and looks like + acts like a 6 months. He tried to sit for half a year, at least - but still not good. When I hold him,he flops left or right. (mostly left)He had an MRI which says delayed brain development. He's got verticul talus on both feet. I took Silica 1M as constitutonal when I was pregnant with him. I gave him Silica 6, 2 months ago and he went to sleep much quicker. Now I'm giving Silica 15 for 3 weeks and he sits better- but still not firm enough. If I stop the remedy he just can't go to sleep. How long can I give this remedy to him continually? Shall I change the potency, and if so,how?varbiro on 2008-03-08

You do not need to keep repeating these medicines so much if the correct medicine is applied. Just 2-3 doses of one potency are enough.
You take 2-3 doses of a SINGLE medicine, and if it gives benefit, you wait without taking any doses till it gives benefit (at times this waiting needs to be weeks or months) and if the symptom picture still corresponds to it once the improvement ceases (like you are 40 % better but no further improvement happening) , you take the same medicine in a higher potency to get further improvement, else you move onto the next remedy.
That being said, I would give him just ONE dose of Silicea 30C and observe him for a few days, and see if there is improvement.
