Plumbum and Lathyrus Sativus HELP!!!

Hello everyone,

I suffer from a muscular dystrophy, called FSHD.

A homeopathic doctor recommended the following remedies:

Causticum C 200 Dilution (one dose of 5 drops in two spoon of water daily in the Evening)

Plumbum Met. C 200 Dilution (one dose of 5 drops in two spoon of water daily in the morning)

Lathyrus Sativus Q (0 drops in half glass of water three times a day)
__________

I was looking for Plumbum Met. C-200 Dilution and was not able to find anyone who is selling it. Whats the reason for that, I just can find C-200 Plumbum Met. Globules.
Is Plumb. Met. D200 Dilution the same as Plumbum Met. C200 Dilution?

Also I do not know what he means with 'Lathyrus Sativus Q Dilution'. I understood that there are different Lathyrus Sativus, e.g LM LATHYRUS SATIVUS XII , Lm Lathyrus Sativus Xvii, LM LATHYRUS SATIVUS XXX.....

Which one is the correct one I have to buy?

Unfortunately, he does not answer to my emails anymore, so I have to ask you, maybe someone can help me out.

Please help me.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Sorry I made a mistake. It should be

'Lathyrus Sativus Q (20 drops in half glass of water three times a day) '

Hi,
I do not want to discuss the correct choice of remedies recommended by your doctor. I fully agree with Dr. Mahfooz that a full-fledged description of all your ailments is necessary to choose the very simillimum (i.e. homopathic medicine matching your illness as much as possible). The description you have provided thus far matches the remedies that your doctor listed. To find out, which one might be THE most appropriate, I recommend that you surf the internet to find proper descriptions of the respective homeopathic remedies. The Pocket Manual of Homeopathic Materia Medica by William Boericke for example is a handbook, which lists the symptoms of each of the remedies in more detail.

As regards the potencies, D200 is not the same as C200. The C-potency is higher, since it employs a smaller fraction of active ingredient than the D-potency. The Q for Lathyrus Sativus also refers to a homeopathic potency. Q-potencies are also often called LM-potencies. They refer to the highest homeopathic potencies higher than (D and C). In general, there is always a great deal of discussion, which potency and which dosage of a remedy should be applied. A rule of thumb is that the more chronic and deep-rooted the illness, the higher the potency that should be employed.

I can only say that a positive effect of the correct remedy (or at least with the correct tendency) is often visible quite quickly. I would recommend to then wait and let the body react to the applied remedy instead of using it to eagerly (i.e. some repetitions are o.k., but give your body time to accomodate). In contrast to 'regular' medicine it is not the aim of homeopathy to fight the illness head-to-head with high amounts of active ingredient, but to provide your body's self-healing capacity with the information it needs to 'understand' and then fight the illness. This implies that if the information of the remedy is not the one matching your illness, more of the same remedy will still not help you.

Regarding your question to dilutions and globules, they are just two forms of application. Globules are little sugar pearls. So for your doctor's recommendation you could also use 5 globules.

I hope this helps you a bit.
Best regards,
Sascha

The doctor recommended five drops of Plumbum and Causticum daily. five drops plumbum in the morning and five drops causticum in the evening.

wouldn't it be better, to raise the dose to 5 drops three times a day of each? maybe you won't get a effect with such low dose, but one could not be sure later if the potency was too low or the dose was too low....so wouldnt it be better to raise the dose?
hope someone understands my problem.
five drops one time daily sounds very low to me.
