Nasal Discharge in 5 Yr Old

my 5 year old son has the following symptoms with his nasal discharge -

1) Greenish/yellow discharge from both nostrils
2) More dring the day
3) Clogging and drying up at tip of nostrils (Moist crusts), hard to remove, gets sore

No other symptoms anywhere else, just the nose.

Been a few months now.

Appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks.

Dear Sameer,

He's slim and tall for his age.

Very active, smart and analytical mind.

Much ahead for his age in his class.

Strong in terms of his memory.

Not much fear; sleeps all byhinsself alone since birth in his room etc..

Very talkative which is a problem at school. Says 'he forgot he should have been quite wth his listening skills ON'. I would say he did not forget but he just can't resist being talkative :)

Let me know if addl. info is needed.

you can also try KALI BICH 30C every 6 hours for 2 days.

Thanks Dear Rishimba,

That's the remedy that came up the Remedy Finder as well.

Thanks.

How is his thirst ?

Is he worse/better from heat or cold ?

How about his food cravings, if any ?

Sameer

He's OK with thirst. I think a little lesser that it should be.

He likes colder rooms to sleep, warmer areas to play and hate 'hot' food. Prefer warm or cold food.

Loves Sweets, prefers less spiced food. But does not reject spiced food.

Thanks Sameer, let me know.

Ok .

How sympathetic/caring is he ?

Is the discharge ropy ?

Is he indifferent to messy/dirty rooms ? Is he lazy ?

Sameer.

sameervermani last decade
He's very caring with everyone around but sometimes he's way off - I would attribute that to his age.

Not Ropy, semi thin but thickens at tip of nostrils.

nope, he's a kind of clean freak - cleans his room, keeps away used dishes himself. But then he forgets to blow /clean his nose every time its leaky and hence the formation...difficult to answer Sameer :)

Okay I would go with Rishi's advice, give 3 doses of KALI BICH 30C on a single day.

Rishimba and Sameer,

Thanks again. I have started giving him Kali Bich today. I'll send out the progress in 2 days or earlier if I see improvement.

Thanks,

Stop after 3 doses.

sameervermani last decade
Hi!

I gave him 3 doses and after 4 days there is around 40-50% improvement but no further improvementsince yesterday.

Can I try another 1-2 doses?

Thanks,

sanjesh last decade
Wait for 3-4 more days , and if there is no further progress, give a SINGLE dose of 200C.

Good luck
Sameer.

sameervermani last decade
I actually could not find 200c locally so just watched him and it seems he's out of it 90% waiting for the last 10%.

Thanks.

luvdodo last decade
Great, and that was with just 3 doses right ?

sameervermani last decade
Yes, just 3. But I might get the 200c someday since he's stopped getting better.

luvdodo last decade
Great , that is the perfect scenario, waiting till the improvement stops.

Good luck,
Sameer
