The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Acute case PS

I recently wrote about feeling tired all the time after moving into a retirement center. I downplayed Sabra's suggestion it might be from cleaning supplies, but once again, I think that's an accurate assessment. I wake exhausted and have to sleep 2 or 3 times a day which is very unusual for me.

When I go out it takes an hour or so, but eventually I feel and look better. My windows are open 24 hours a day except for once when it was raining. When I came home, the smell of paint was very strong and it was an unusual odor. Maybe it's the carpet.

I felt better after taking a flu preventive but that was obviously not the only problem.

My question is: Since moving is not an option, is there a remedy that will help?

I'm tired of being tired!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Hi, you can take NUX VOMICA. This is often used when the body is reaction to local poisons. It won't hurt you even if we do not actually know the problem.

There are numerous tonics at the health store. Ask for advice there. One can get a vit combo with a natural form of iron there.

We talked of stepping up your intake of calcium at this time. Find someone that does muscle testing to purchase the one that suits your body.

Allopathic prisc for iron replacement is very dangerous. It hurts far more than helps.

Get blood checked for anemia. The same blood test can check the liver and thyroid. One can get Homeopathic thyroid. Muscle testing will tell you also. A person in the health store may know how to do this. Some Chiropractors do it. If you use a pendulum...?

A negative ion fan or machine will change things. Epsom salt baths change the ions to negative for the body. But, can you get into and out of a bathtub? If alone, this may not be good idea. Have a friend come over at this time in case you need help. Do not put yourself in a position of needing help while alone.

If you do not have a telephone that you can take the receiver around with you, think of getting one. The panasonic is the best and easiest I have found when my old tele died. I had to go through 3 before I settled on this one.

Let us know how you progress. Blessings, Sabra

Thanks again, Sabra. I have nux and will take it. There is one - and only one- homeopathic MD in this area. I'll make an appointment with him next week.

No bathtubs here, only showers for the very reason you mentioned. Ugh.

I'm trying the old but still good method of placing open containers of baking soda around the rooms to absorb odors.

I keep the windows open during the day but since I wake lethargic, I'll open the bedroom window all the way (3') instead of about 6" see how I feel in the morning. Besides really, really cold.

I'll let you know what happens.

Something you may try. When finished in the shower, have a quite warm mix of epson salts in a container in the shower with you. Use plastic drinking glass size container to pour over the body, hair too, one glass after the other.

Maybe a plastic gallon jug (3 T. salts) and fill the plastic glass from it. This will get a bit of the epson salts into the body by osmosis. If you have a shower stool, sit down and enjoy it like a treatment. When done, rinse the hair well and you have at least done something for the body.

Listen carefully to H. dr and see if he is listening and giving you honest personal attention. If he begins to treat you like the allopathic drs, get up and walk out.

Keep us posted? Blessings Sabra

Sabra...I wanted to wait until I was sure that opening the windows all the way instead of 6-8" and placing backing soda around the apartment did the trick.

I have wakened every morning since making those seemingly minor changes feeling great and feel good all day without getting tired. I am SO thankful and now it's so obvious that I was being slowly poisoned by the cleaning chemicals prior to my moving in.

Just wanted to let you know.

Thank you so much for the posting.

In immediate future if you have any similar problems, Check about heavy metals with someone in health store that knows how to do muscle testing. There are many good supplmemts to release this.

Blessings, Sabra
