Blind Fistula
I am a 33 year old married lady and I have a daughter who is 2yrs and 9months old. I had a caesarian delivery. I am a working woman.I had an abscess on the left side of my anus four months back. It was a very painful one and it was becoming bigger and bigger day by day. I went to a doctor who cut and drained the pus. The doctor also told me that I might get it back as it seemed to communicate with the rectum. She said that there was some pus in the rectum also. She said that it was a case of blind fistula, and may require about two surgeries. Just as she said, about 20 days after this treatment there was pus collection again. It burst open from the cut which the doctor made for drainage. But, I was worried about two surgeries.
Just then a person who has studied homeopathy (does not practice) asked me to take silicea 12x three times a day. I have been having it for the past three months. But the pus formation has not completely stopped. Whenever I sit for a long time or strain myself or once in three days, I see a small swelling in the left side of the anus. when I press it hard, I get watery pus from the anus. There is no other external opening. Now, more cuts (fissures) are formed inside the anus on the right side also. I can feel it with my fingers. It is pricking when I sit or strain. When I shared it with the person who has studied homeopathy, he asked me to take Sulphur 200 once a week (5 round globules) and I have just taken one dosage. After taking it, I could feel that the burning and the pricking pain have reduced. But, it is not healed fully.
This makes me upset and depressed and I am not able to concentrate on anything. I am not able to work on a regular basis. Doctor, I request you to kindly look into my case and help me out. I don't want to undergo surgery.

if the formation of pus is still continuing, please start treatment with MYRISTICA SEBIFERA 6C or 12C taken thrice a day.
continue it for some days till you see that the pus formation has stopped.
then, take SILICEA 30C twice a day for some three or four days.
if the duct is still open and pain is continuing, you can take SILICEA 200C once a day for some 3 to 4 days.
this will ensure drying up and closing of the fistula.

Thank you very much for the information. Just a small question please: Can I have Myristica sebifera and Silicea simultaneously? Or should there be a gap between both the dosages? How many pills should I take in each?

SILICEA should follow MYRISTICA.
thats because myristica is is for opening up and draining of the pus and silicea is to gradually drying and closing the duct. they both have different reactions in the body.
please dont have it together.

Thank you very much doctor. I will be having myristica for the first four days and this will be followed by silicea. I would be having 6 pills (small spherical globules) each time. Is that correct?

The treatment has brought about a lot of improvement. The burning and the pricking pain had reduced to a great amount. The pus has reduced a lot.
However, I can still feel the small hard pipe-like swelling is still there, though it doesn't affect much.
Will this hard pipe-like swelling be there, even after the pus drains?

I also think that I have a blind fistula. I had a horseshoe abscess drained in the ER in august of 2007. Now they say that I have a fistula on one side about 1 inch. What does this mean and what should I take? I have been taking silica caps with calcium for a month and it has helped with the pain and pus but still have alittle pus and blood still forming. I am also taking amino acids caps. Is there anything else that I should do because I am frustrated and ready for surgery. It has been 8 months. thanks to all.

Dear doctor,
I started to take silicea 200 as silicea 30 was not available. Real good improvement! I could feel that the openings are gradually getting dried and closing. But, a new problem has started. I mentioned about a hard pipe-like swelling. This swelling has not come down. Besides, a new swelling has erupted close to this and the size of it is gradually increasing. It is not very painful unless I press it hard. Would this be any side-effect? Or is the the pus is collected somewhere inside since the openings are getting closed? Please help!

please stop SILICEA 200C.
please wait and see the condition of the swellings. if you feel, the new swelling has collected pus, you should go back to myristica at a lower potency and for a much longer time.
probably, myristica 12c for some 2 weeks.
once you are sure that all the pus is drained, you can start silicea 30c.

i am 20 year old college student .i had an abscess on right side of my anus from 6 month.i went to dr she dignosed fistula but trackis not found so it es blind fistula so he operated it and drained the pus but she said it can reoccure as she said it reoccure after 10 days of tretment but at the time of checkup of fistula my anus but opening was some much streched some skin has also cameout from anus it was so painful so i have read in your website about sulphur 200 so i have taken their was a improvement skin was ok and gonein side but from that when ever i eat something spicy my stool itches my skin of anus pus used to come .and also i want to tell you that i have a problem of acidity ,acid reflucx , constipation and leucarrea please help me i am upset and depressed of my problem but i cannot undersand one thing thatwhen i have taken sulphur 200 my acid reflucx is ok but burning stool problem has started

dr i have taken causticum200 butnot that much relief .i want to tell you that their is a small hole inside my rectum .so after bm some itching in my anus after some time pus used to come.i an very much irritated please help me
