Anger and temper tantrums

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can advice me on this. I have a 20 months old who has some anger issues. I know that it's age where they have one temper tantrum after another, but I think what my little one is doing is not only unnecessary but also hurting him.
Things just HAVE to be his way. And if they are not, the whole world just falls apart for him. The worst part is that his tamper tantrums do not go away for very long time. Depending on the level of disappointment, he will cry for hours and hours! NOTHING will sooth him except nursing.
He will hit, pull my hair, kick, punch, throw himself on the floor, throw things around him, crawl to me, wants to be with me, but keeps hitting me and pulling my hair.
I noticed that it gets worse if he skips his meal. I can tell he wants to eat or drink, but he is so mad that he will just throw things on the floor and then gets upset about it.
He also gets really aggravated by homeopathic remedies. Almost any remedy will put him into this uncontrollable rage.
I don't know what to do any more.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Calcarea Carb will be worth consideration. The nature of the tantrum is pointing to it definitely.

Calcarea Carb children are very strong willed and their tantrum CAN last hours.

Give him just 1 dose of Calcarea 30C and wait for 1 week.

Then we will take it from there.
