New to homeopathy...8yo son on hyoscyamus

My son is 8 he has Apraxia and ADHD combined type. We tried meds for a while and he had too much weight loss. I wanted to do something more natural so I went to an NP. He has him taking 1 tsp of cod liver oil and he diluted a pellet in distilled water of hyoscyamus. He said it 1:150 thousand dilution. Ihope Ido not offend anyone but this all sounds a bit strange to me. He told me to tap the bottle against my hand 8 x's and then put 1 stpin 4 oz of water stir and give 1tsp from that. Its been about 2 weeks and we really do not see a change. He maybe a little more focused on work once you can get him to sit to even do it. I am at my witts end. I talked with the NP todayand he suggested I tap the bottle 10 times instead of 8...will this really change the potency???? I am also supposed to refill the bottle withwater now that there is only an inch left and continue the same directions. Thoughts please???

Hmm.. it seems he is giving LM potencies.

10 taps will raise the potency faster than 8 taps.

However, it is always better to try a few C potencies first before moving to the LM scale.

Hyoscyamus has a very peculiar remedy picture and you can read it online to see if it matches

'Hyoscyamus:
Indicated for difficult children with poor impulse control, even though engaged in premeditated actions; talk excessively with episodes of mania and rage that might include hitting and screaming, also inclined to depression after manic phase; can be manipulative, lying, and violent; seem unable to think; unresponsive to questions or cannot bear anyone talking to them; intense and violent excitability with fear, delirium, and the delusion of being poisoned; feelings of abandonment, jealousy, suspicion; fears of dark, dogs, water; delirious; delusions of animals, of being pursued by enemies, as if s/he might be injured by surroundings; sees ghosts, specters; very animated, seeming silly and foolish; smiling and laughing at everything, often inappropriately; talks nonsense; acts out ridiculous gestures like a dancing clown or monkeys, trying to be center of attention, often with sexual overtones; giddy; love to run around naked, can be a totally shameless exhibitionist with bizarre behaviors for shock value, including cursing; tries to embarrass parents; jealous of their siblings, often may injure them; cannot tolerate being covered up.

And, regarding dilution being too high, you do not need to worry about that, as homeopathy always works with very highly diluted remedies.

Infact higher the dilution (and sucussions) , the more potent the remedy becomes.

What is an LM vs a C remedy??? I have never looked into any of this before so its a little scary for me. It seems like my son matches some of the descriptions above but not all.....and some I think may have been misinterpreted by my NP. We have been doing this for 2 weeks now. Ifit was going to work should it have happened by now?? Is there any dangers with this remedy???

It should have worked by now , especially with LM potencies.

The symptoms of your son have to be a subset of the symptoms in Hyoscyamus. Not all symptoms of Hyoscyamus will be found in one person.
