Kind Attn: Dr. Deshlok / Dr. Tahira - Undergone cataract and glaucoma operation - need helpMy father age 72 is suffering from glaucoma past 1 year. He has diabetes and High BP, presently under control. He has undergone cataract and glaucoma operation on right eye last month. He was told that one blood vessel in the right eye retina has damaged. He uses Lumigan eye drop only in the left eye daily night. He has been taking Osmium 6c daily 3 times for the past 2 months still continuing. Arnica 200 and Senega 200 one dose daily after the cataract operation. Now stopped after using 1 week. The cataract and glaucoma operations have not improved his vision rather there is some loss in vision. His left eye also needs catacact operation sometime later.
Please advice me as to what medicine to take or to continue with Osmium. I'm bit worried with these catacact and glaucoma operations - they claim get back your vision and on the other side they say cataract operation can result in some loss in vision. Please help.

♥ Dr Tahira last decadeOh! thanks a lot Dr. Tahira for the quick response as usual. Do I have to continue with the Osmium 6c and Arnica200, for how long? Bellis and Symphytom I'll start right away.
soumen_dev last decadeStop ocimum and arnica, follow the remedies i suggested.Along with the medicines give him energetic food to help his immune system like 'Almonds'and fresh fruits.
♥ Dr Tahira last decadeAfter the catract operation...the surgeon will insert a lens inside the eye...that improves the vision.....other wise person has to use specs with thick lenses.
Check with the eye surgeon what type of operation he is performing.

Thanks Dr. Tahira & Dr.Varma.
He has undergone cataract operation with insertion of lens. Pls. confirm do I need to stop Osmium, as I read in this forum from Dr. Deshlok it is very good for glaucoma? He has so far taken Osmium for more than 2 months. Also off late his albumin is 2+ and uric acid is also little high, for which he has been taking Serrum anguellie past 1 week.
I look forward for your valued advices. Thanks again to you both.
soumen_dev last decadeDear Soumen,
Serrum ang. is a remedy to be taken carefully,i think ur father has taken more than enough doses of ocimum and Serum angullie.U did't mention by whom these medicines were recommended. If it is prescribed by ur family physician then u should discuss with him recent situation and follow his advice, because he can see ur father and better judge than any net treatment.
♥ Dr Tahira last decadeDear Dr. Tahira,
I've actually gone through some of the discussions on this forum on simillar grounds from which I followed suit. My father is also a Homeopath BHMS from Kolkata, [we're staying in visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, India] presently due to his health conditions he isn't into it much- and moreover he's open to such suggestions, [with caution as you rightly said] Well, I've asked him to stop those medicine and stick to Bellis and symphytom for three days. I hope they haven't had a bad effect?? Dr. what do you suggest for his glaucoma and a blocked blood vessel in right eye retina. I really appreciate your response and so promptly, and you too Dr. Varma.

Blocked vessel in Retina area will yield to Arnica and/or Lachesis.
Is it the Central Vein that carry's the blood out of the area (Eye specialists normally call it CVO) ??
Is he a patient of BP ??
Give me more symptom details of your dad.
Do you also have a basic knowledge homeopathy.(since your dad has been a homeopath) ???
