Height Increase of my 2yr old son
Hi,I have a 28 months old son who height is 82 cms which is below the growth chat. I have got all his blood test done including thyroid, wheat allergy, liver etc. All the reports are fine. The endocronoligist is pescribing Growth Hormone Defficiency treatment. He is so small i dont want him to go thru such taruma of injections everyday. Pl advice some remedy.

Thankyou so much Dr. Deoshlok for quick response. Somebody suggested me Baryta Carb.30, 7-8 tablets in size 30 for him. So, i have started giving him. Should i stop it and start with Baryta Carb 200? Is this pescribed medicine for growth hormone defficiency???

Long use of any medicine in the same potency is bound to give accessory symptoms and aggravations.
The medicine should be stopped as soon as the benefit starts.
And, Baryta Carb is not a panacea for growth problems. It will only give benefit when it corresponds to the totality. Prescriptions based on just 'small height' are seldom going to be of any help.

Why are you in such great hurry with a 2 year old ? He has plenty of time gain height.
You should not even think of harmones, but yes, the correct homeopathic medicine will help him.
The correct medicine will need to be decided on a lot of factors. Just throwing Baryta Carb on the first sight of dwarfism is not going to be of help. There is a very low chance that it is the correct remedy when prescribed on this solitary symptom

Thanks for genuine reply. My concern with my son is that there should be nothing wrong with him medically( for this i got all his tests done) and if he is defficient of hormones then i dont want him to loose time.
I am not able to get correct or satisfying replies to my questions on this.I dont know whom to discuss this with?? Endocronolighist has her own point of view but its painful treatment.

Never try hormonal treatment. It will have disastrous consequences for his long term health.
And, I think , you are being over concerned about a boy of 2 years age. Many children gain height later on. Don't judge him by his height. If he is otherwise healthy, there is no need to worry.
On a lighter note, Sachin Tendulkar's height is 5 ft 4 inches. Does that reduce his stature ?

In homeopathy there is a word called proving which means getting the symptoms the patient didn't have initially, because of taking the unchanged doses of the same medicine repeatedly.
Baryta Carb has caused dullness of mind in provings.
If you want to take a chance and see what will eventually happen go ahead.

I feel you are hurrying too much out of over concern regarding the height of your 2 year old son. I feel more than his height, you must be concerned for his overall health and more importantly, his future health.
First of all, stop drugging the child unnecessarily since you admit that he has no other medical problems. Avoid hormone treatment for your child's good.
And try to take the Bach Flower Remedy 'RED CHESTNUT' to get over your own over anxiety and over concern for your child. Read more about it at the Bach centre website:

If the patient father so worry & going to give hormone treatment, then plz suggest some remedies for the same patient.
