Spring Allergies
Thanks all for posting very valuable information on Homeopathic remedies. Indeed a very informative forum and I wish all you best of health and life!I have been personally suffering from Spring allergies since last 5-6 years. Here are the key symptoms currently: Any advise would be very helpful..
1) Blocked/running rose early morning. usually 4-5AM.
2) Starts off as running nose and then continous sneezing takes over with rustic irritating throat and wet eyes.
3) Itchy eyes with constant urge to rub/itch. more itch at corners and eye lids. More I itch, more urge I get to itch more...wierd and would not stop until I 'bite' my tongue and put my foot down...!
4) Currently, burns at inner lips and tip of the tongue. cant remember if I always get burns in the mouth every season or is it just this year..
5) Small pus filled pimples on side of the nose and chin. Again cant remeber if its always the case with spring allergies or is it this year only from something esle...
6) Nature: Irritable; seek perfection. Dont trust others much. Want to make sure myself personally if really want something done.
7) Like sweets. Can't happen that I have sweets at home and I dont finish them off the same day..
8) Like to drink occasionally. Like fruit, specillay Mangoes.
- Have been taking Sabalia pills by Boiron; and it helps short term with nose and sneezing but eyes are still itchy..
- Also take Arsenicum Album 30 sort of alternate days..again helps but symptoms come back again.
Do have family hitory of mild allergies. Can remember that raw tomatoes and/or red onions used to give me burns in the childhood days.
Any advise on the above would be appreciated.

during the episodes, please take ARS ALB 30C every four hours on a day.
follow this for a few episodes.
next few episodes, take ARS ALB 200C one dose.
increase the potency till a threshold potency will be responded to permanently by your body and gradually the allergic tendency will stop.

Yes I agree with dr. rishimba. But would suggest if Ars. Alb-30 works well then no need to go upper potency, where it stop its progress then go up.

Just to confirm a couple of points;
- An episode is, when I see aggravated symptoms?
- Would Ars Alb help with the burns in the mouth/tongue and itchy eyes as well or do I need to take something else in the short term?
- Any specific precautions from any specific foods which may be aggravating allergies? I was tested positive for allergies to Birch tree, cats, Ragweed primarily.
- As mentioned, I have been also trying Sabalia (a combination of Allium cepa 5C HPUS, Ambrosia artemisiaefolia 5C HPUS, Histaminum hydrochloricum 9C HPUS, Euphrasia officinalis 5C HPUS, Sabadilla 5C HPUS, Solidago virgaurea 5C HPUS) and it seems to work short term. Would you recommend to stop Sabalia all together and go for Ars Alb instead.
- I have another ongoing symptom, not sure if its related to allergies or if its coz of a different root cause; I get small white flakes on my eye lashes and Allopathic doctor suggested me to use Cortisone cream - which, for obvious reasons, I didnt use more than once..The symptom with white eye flakes has been roughly around for 5-6 years - since I have had the Spring/fall Allergies bothering me. Any recommendations there?
- One last question, I like to drink occasionally - at parties etc. Does alcohol (a couple of drinks) interfere with Ars Alb? Should I avoid drinks during the Allergy season?

ARS ALB will cover most of your listed ailments.
please avoid alcohol during the treatment and dont take any remedies or medicines when you take ars alb.
follow the regime and you will most probably be cured.

Wanted to get back to you with respect to my allergies status.

please dont take bacillinum. its not at all indicated for you.

during the next episode, you may take one dose of 200c and then wait for some 4 to 6 hours.
if it doesnt give relief, you can repeat the dose two to three times.
during subsequent episodes, you can go for ars alb 200c straight at 6 hours interval, maximum 4 to 6 doses.
most probably, the intensity of the sufferings will decrease gradually and then your immuno system will cure you in the long run.
regarding the pharmacies in canada, i am not much aware of the system. i believe, they will sell 200c potency without prescription.
in many countries, upto 1m potency is available without prescription.

Hello Rishimba,
Wanted to report back the progress after 6 doses of Ars Alb 200C (6 hour intervals):
- Symptoms seem 85-90% relieved. This morning, I did not have excessive sneezing or running nose.
- I was able to sleep properly except for a couple of sneezes around 2.30 AM.
- Eyes itching is better too but I would not say that its compeltely gone yet.
- I dont have the throat as rough as I used to have a couple of weeks ago.
- I feel that slight eye eczema (small white flakes on eye lids/lashes) is better as well. I dont think its compeltely gone yet but I would say 70-80% better.
So, all in all good progress after 6 doses of Ars Alb 200C. What would you recommend now? Should I continue on with less frequent doses or should I stop Ars Alb 200C at this point.
A few more things I want to point out:
- I like drinking water - however only a few sips at a time.
- I get craving to have a beer or so in the evening, howver have been avoiding while I was taking Ars Alb 200C. Can I now have an occassional drink here and there?

please continue taking ARS ALB 200C once in a day morning for a few days and then once in two to three days for a few more days.
occasional drink is no problem.
once you see that 200c potency has stopped working on you and you still need to improve on your spring allergies and eczema, you can take one dose of 1M potency once in 2 weeks for a few number of times.

- I dont have continous sneezing or running nose as I had before.
- Dont have itchy eyes either.
- Coz of almost no symptoms of allergies, my breathing is better as well.
- Eczema around my eye lids/lashes feels better too, however not completely gone.
As advised, I plan to take 2 doses of Ars Alb 1M 2-3 months apart and hope that would cure my eye eczema as well.
I sincerely appreciate your constant feedback and help in curing my allergies situation.
